Chapter 19

I'm back with the new chapter...

Previously:

After we exchanged stories, we started walking back to our ship and I was just about to ask details of their shortened story when we heard shouting of the local guards, directed at Leo...

"There he is!"

"Stop him!"

"Stay where you are!"

And so on. I turned to face Leo to ask him about this mess but all that I saw was a dust trail from where Calypso, Leo and suitcase Festus were.

"I swear I will kill him 100 times over once I find him."

Now:

Percy POV:

It was getting dark although one of the suns was still above the horizon. I was slowly making my way back to the ship while still searching for Leo. He ran off 3 hours ago and I still couldn't find him and I was getting tired. 

I finally reached the ship and climbed in and was about to go to sleep when I heard a quiet tap on the window. At first, I thought that it was just my imagination but I heard it again. I opened the window and got hit in the face with a stone. 

"Ow," I whisper-shouted. 

"Sorry Percy, your face was in the way," Leo said while clambering into the small cabin, Calypso following behind with Festus (in his suitcase form).

"What are you doing here!? Scratch that, what is going on!?" I whisper-shouted again. 

"Well, you see, I got accidentally caught up in a bet with this slug thing, and the people here take bets really seriously, and Festus somehow ended up being involved and I lost so we ran away and now I'm a criminal," Leo said with a smile. 

...

"Why do you sound so happy!? Do you even know what will happen to you if you get caught!"

"But I haven't gotten caught yet and I'm perfectly fine."

"That's not the point..."

"Why are you even worried? You've gotten into worse situations than this and you're still alive. Now then. We'll be staying with you overnight if that's okay with you." Leo finished and started to get ready for bed when we heard shouting.

"Come out at once. You're under arrest in the name of Jabba the Hut."

We were handcuffed and being lead to Jabba by three pig guards. (They smelled horrible) Calypso wasn't arrested since she wasn't involved and Festus was still with her. I got arrested because I was helping Leo who was arrested with me. I seriously hate him. We stopped in front of a door from which loud music and cheering could be heard. Luckily, they didn't find my lightsaber when they searched us for weapons and I also have water and Leo has his fire so we can fight our way out if needed.

The pigs pushed us inside and then one of them went away. The room we were pushed into was full of different kinds of aliens and humans. There was a dance floor and a band with a frog-looking alien singer who was performing. The Twi'leks who were dancing had collars and chains attached to them. 

One of the dancers collapsed and she was then dragged off the dance floor towards a gigantic slug. The slug signalled one of his subordinates to press a lever and then the Twi'lek fell through the floor. Seconds later, there was a growl and screaming. Minutes later the screaming stopped and silence followed. I nervously looked over to Leo who had paled in the face. We both did. 

We were led towards the slug and were forced to kneel in front of it. It growled out a few things and turned toward the droid standing next to it. 

"Jabba the Hut asks who you are," the droid translates nervously. 

"My name is Percy Jackson," "And I am Leo Valdez."

Jabba growls out something else which the droid translated.

"He says that Leo Valdez is to be killed since he is the one who cheated in his bet with Jabba and Percy Jackson will be handed over to the Jedi representative his punishment for assisting the criminal. Call in the Jedi."

One of the servants walks out for a few minutes returning with none other than Ahsoka Tano.

 Done. Sorry it was a little short but I hope you enjoyed it and if any of you have any ideas as to what to add to the story, I'm all ears.
