Chapter 21

I'm back with the new chapter. My laptop recently broke down so it will take longer for me to update the new chapters...(sorry)

Previously:

Ahsoka sat down on one of the pilot seats and switched the engines on. The ship slowly lifted off after the approving signal of the local workers and we flew up and away from the desert planet.

Now:

Third POV:

It was two days after they left Tatooine that they got a message from Anakin telling them to get to his ship as fast as they could without saying why. Ahsoka immediately changed their course from Coruscant to the given coordinates without dropping Leo and Calypso off. They arrived after a day and a half completely exhausted from the long flight and starved.

Percy POV:

We finally jumped out of hyperspace and arrived to see what I presume is Anakin's huge metal thing (ship) being completely overrun by 3 separatist giant metal things (cruisers). Just behind there was a huge planet or moon. I can never tell.  There were lasers shooting around everywhere, the red obviously overpowering the blue. Ahsoka managed to avoid the heavy fire as soon as we were noticed and docked into the republic ship hangers. The moment the doors to our small ship opened, I and Ahsoka ran out and past the clone troopers who were heading to check our ship and towards the bridge.

"Hey, Percy?" I heard Leo shout. "What about us? What do we do?" I quickly stopped and turned around to shout back,

"Just stay there or something. Don't destroy anything. I'll see you later!"

I went back to running and catch up with Ahsoka just as the lift doors shut.

"You could've waited for me, you know," I complained to her, puffing.

"You were taking to long. For all we know, Anakin is in trouble and there is no back up so we, no I need to hurry."

"Don't leave me out Ahsoka. I'm helping out too. Just cause I've never battled like this before doesn't mean I'm completely useless." Our short conversation was abruptly put to a stop when the lift doors opened signalling our arrival. Ahsoka ran out of the lift with me close behind her and we entered the bridge to see Anakin in the middle of a meeting with the present council members over a holograph table.

"Ahsoka! Percy! You finally made it." Anakin noticed and then turned back to the table.

"Good to see you, it is. Successful, your mission was?" Yoda asked.

"Not exactly... But we'll tell you what happened later, it's not important. What's happening?" Ahsoka answered.

"Padme is in trouble. Separatists have completely overtaken the planet and Padme didn't make it out in time. She is down there hiding with C3PO, R2 and Jar Jar. We can't break through the blockades and if we don't get Padme out in time...  Anyways, the back up isn't going to get here in time so I would like you and Percy to go down there and try and help them," Anakin answered Ahsoka.

"Difficult, it will be.  But do it, you must. In the force, should you trust."

"Errr, no offence but are you sure everything is that simple? Something doesn't feel right..." I interrupted.

"It'll be fine Percy. We just have to sneak past, get them out and done! We'll be going now." Ahsoka grabbed my arm and dragged me back to the lift while waving to Anakin. "I don't really understand how your demigod senses work but it'll be fine. As Yoda said, trust in the force. I trust it more than your 'senses'.

We flew out of the hanger and successfully managed to get past the blockade. Ahsoka is seriously an amazing pilot. I don't even understand what half the buttons mean. We flew through the clouds and landed in a field. More like a desert with the closest trees or anything really quite a while away. The grass was mostly dead with some brown spots here and there. The ground was dusty and barren with an occasional dead bush. Despite what the surroundings looked like, the air was quite moist and dense with water. Other than us, it was empty.

"Ahsoka... Are you sure anyone is here at all? This doesn't look like a place anything would be able to survive in, much less anyone," I asked Ahsoka who climbed out of the ship about a minute after me. She walked up to me and looked around, looking at the deserted land around us.  Her face went from determined, to panicky.

"You're right. Something's wrong. Anakin said that Padme's distress call came from these coordinates. They should be here." She reached for the comm hanging on her belt and called, I presume, Anakin. He didn't answer and for a minute, all we heard was a fuzzy, static noise you usually get from an old TV that dies.

"Damn it. Communication is jammed. I can't get through. Hurry back into the ship. We need to get out of here, this was a trap..."

BOOOOOOM.

A huge explosion behind us threw us off our feet and a couple of metres away. Everything was dizzy for a few seconds. My head was spinning and my whole entire body was aching. When I could finally see clearly, I saw our ship was blown to smithereens. Nothing left but a pile of useless, burning, scrap metal.

From behind the 'used to be ship' scrap pile and through the dust cloud, a huge figure stepped out, clanking with every step. It stopped right in front of us, followed by metal robots who I assume are clankers from what I heard the clones say. They quickly surrounded us and held out their blasters, pointing straight at me and Ahsoka, who managed to clear her head at around the same time as me.

"You're absolutely right, little Jedi. You are absolutely right.  This was a trap, and you fell right into it..."

Done. I'll try to upload the next chapter as soon as possible.

May the force be with you.
