Previously:

By the time we got there, we had already arrived and landed in the hanger of the republic ship.

Cyrus quickly made his way towards us and we walked off of the small ship and towards Anakin who was waiting for us outside.

Now:

Percy POV:

Anakin's face changed from worry to relief the moment he saw that the Senator was alive and safe. It's a wonder that they haven't been discovered yet, with him being so obvious about it. Deciding to leave them to it, me and Cyrus walked over to Obi-Won who was waiting for us at one of the lifts. He grimly nodded at us to follow him, and without a word, entered the lift with us close behind. The ride up was awkward and quiet and seemed to last forever. What made it even more awkward, was my uncontrollable finger tapping against my thigh ( gotta thank ADHD for that).

The doors to the lift clicked open and we walked out. In front of us were Jedi generals, including Yoda, discussing strategies, gathered around the holographic projection of the space battle. The lift doors announced our arrival and all of them turned around to face us.

"Successful, the mission was?"

"Yes, Master Yoda. Senator Amidala was retrieved and is currently with Anakin. However... Ahsoka is..."

Obi-Wan was interrupted by Yoda lifting up his hand, asking for silence.

"Know of that, I already do. Tell us more about it, Percy Jackson will," Yoda said, looking directly at me.

"I... We..." I struggled to explain. Taking a deep breath, I stopped for a moment, before beginning again, this time without a hitch.

"We were ambushed by General Grievous, who I've seen a couple of times from my dreams. Our ship was blown up upon landing which led to us to being captured. Since our priority was to save the senator, Ahsoka told me to get away and so I vapour travelled to the nearest town, meaning I literally turned into water particles and travelled through the air. Unfortunately, I have not yet been able to find a way to transport someone other than myself like this, so she told me to leave without her. With or without your permission, I will still go and save her. No disrespect intended."

After my last few words, the faces of all the Jedi changed and one even wanted to start shouting at me, but we were promptly interrupted by the crackling of an incoming transmission.

"Sir, the transmission... it's from General Grievous. He's asking for Percy Jackson, sir," one of the clones sitting at the desks said.

"Send it through," said one of the other Jedi.

"Percy Jackson. You left your friend at our mercy, and for that, both you and she will suffer greatly. You still have the chance to save her, but only one of you will escape alive. The clock is ticking. You have until tomorrow evening to show up at Geonosis. If you don't show up in time, she will die," the recorded message crackled to an end and everyone grew silent.

"Let you go and save her, I will. A Jedi, you are not. Control over you, I do not have. Go, and may the force be with you, but a trap, expect it to be, " Master Yoda warned me, leaning heavily on his staff with both hands. Deciding to leave before he changed his mind since I'm pretty sure that if he wanted to, he could stop me quite easily, I quickly made for the exit but then stopped mid-step and turned around.

"Err... about Anakin..." I started but was quickly interrupted by Obi-Wan.

"Go. We'll explain everything to him."

I was running down the corridors, avoiding clone troopers who were unlucky enough to be in my path and knocked to the ground, hoping that Cyrus hadn't yet left. Luckily for me, he seemed to have been held up by Leo. Thank the Gods for his curiosity in technology. I reached them, bumping into the last couple of troopers on their way out from the hanger, and heaving stopped before them, trying to catch my breath.

"Can you take me to Geonosis?" I asked Cyrus. "I understand if you can't or don't want to but i would be eternally grateful if you did," I stood there begging him. The next seconds of silence that followed seemed like an eternity to me until he finally replied.

"When do you need to get there by?" he asked, looking at me with a smirk on his fox's face.

"Tomorrow evening but preferably sooner," I replied. "So does that mean you'll help?"

"Of course it does kid. But I expect you to pay this favour back. I don't do this for free you know. Especially not for some Jedi wannabe."

"Thank you," I said, ignoring his jab at my current.... profession?

"Wait wait wait," Leo massively interrupted, "explain."

"Explain what?" I asked, confused.

"This. You come back from a mission without Ahsoka and with two strangers, one of which you're now using as your personal pilot to take you to Geonexis? Nu-uh. Not happening. Or at least without me, it's not. I'm going and you can explain what's happening on the way there, you got that?" And with that, he ran into the ship without even waiting for my reply.

"I think he just wants to fly in the ship. He seemed very interested in it," Cyrus noticed.

"That sounds a lot like Leo..." I said, sighing. "I'll try and pay you back the favour but I can't with money. I'm in a bit of a tight spot at the moment."

"It's fine. I'll just ask you for something in the future."

And with that we walked into the ship, the door closing up the bottom behind us and the engine humming awake, courtesy of Leo who already seems to have made himself at home.

I'm really really sorry for not updating for a while and I will try and update again soon but no promises. If anyone out there is willing to make a new cover page for this story it would be very much appreciated as I'm completely useless in these things.

May the force be with you.
