"So you've been following a voice..." Cyrus trailed off. "It sounds dangerous. You don't even know what it is!"

"No, I don't. But it's about time we found out," I said pulling up Leo and trudging towards the black gateway.

Now:

No one POV:

Percy cautiously walked towards the huge rock, Leo and Cyrus unwillingly following him. Once they passed through the entrance, the rock slammed shut behind them and the ground beneath them started shaking violently. Once the shaking died down, Leo hesitantly turned towards Percy,

"What was that?"

"Well...," Percy started," I think that we've just lost our way out."

"Great, guess we have no choice but to continue on. Lead on, brat," Cyrus complained. Percy didn't bother answering back and stepped forward. The inside, illuminated only by the daylight which has now been closed off, was pitch black so Percy had to rely on the force and on feeling the water particles in the air, though they were growing scarce for every step the demigod took.

"I'm such an idiot!" Leo suddenly exclaimed. "Why did I not think of this straightaway?!" Leo's hand suddenly lit up in hot flames lighting up their pathway.

"What in god's name is that? How are you doing that!" Cyrus yelled in alarm jumping away from the flaming hand.

"Err...well... Basically my dad's a God, Hephaestus to be exact, and so I can flame up whenever and wherever I want, kinda. Cool, right?"

"What do you mean by gods? There are none!" Cyrus ignored everything but the god part.

"Well, both Percy and I are demigods, meaning one of our parents is a god. Captain salt water there is the son of Poseidon, the god of the seas and oceans, earthquakes and anything related. He's also considered one of the greatest demigods to have lived. My dad is Hephaestus, the god of blacksmiths, fire, volcanoes and all the cool stuff. I'm the supreme commander of Argo II, which I built myself. Nice to make yer acquaintance," Leo finished his explanation with a Cheshire grin stretched out on his face.

"What?" Cyrus was beyond confusion. In his world, only the force existed and even that wasn't considered a definite fact and yet here he finds out that not only the force but gods exist and can have children.

"Yeah it's a lot to take in, but we don't have time. I can explain in full after we save Ahsoka, alright?" Percy said and Cyrus just nodded, not trusting his voice.

The trio continued down, their path now visible thanks to Leo and his flaming hand. Their road started slowly descending after around five minutes of steady walking until they reached a ravine. They could see their path on the other side, but it was too far away for them to jump over, and they couldn't see the bottom of the pit.

"I knew I should've brought Happy with us!" Leo complained. "How are we supposed to get across?"

"Well, do you have anything in your belt that you could use to make something that can help us get across?" Percy asked.

"Not unless you're 10 cm tall. I don't have anything that could hold up the weight of a grown up. We're stuck here. Can't you make an ice bridge?"

"No. There is basically no water in the air. Did you forget? We're on a dessert planet. There was barely any water outside much less here... Hey! Did you see that!?" Percy suddenly shouted.

"See what. Other than a dead end, I see nothing," Cyrus gloomily retorted.

"No. On the other side. There was a blue flickering... thing. It stayed there until I noticed it and then disappeared down the path. It behaved like... it wanted us to follow it."

"Percy, do you think it could be connected to the force. I didn't see anything and I was looking at that path all the time while you were brainstorming," Cyrus said.

"Most likely. Well at least we know that we're definitely going in the right direction. Not that there was anywhere else we could've gone. Leo I have an idea. You and Cyrus both have to jump over..."

"ARE YOU CRAZY?!" Cyrus exclaimed. "Do you want us to die? No-one could survive that jump!"

"Cyrus, you didn't let me finish explaining. I will use the force to push you and give you a hand. You have trust me."

"I trust you, but how will you get across yourself?" Leo asked, worried.

"I think there's enough water in the air for me to make a small ice plate that I can propel myself off from mid-jump. Hopefully it will work. We don't really have any other alternatives."

"Fine,"Leo said skeptically. "Get me across first so that I can help Cyrus just in case."

"Get ready. I'll give you a slight push when you're in the air."

Leo walked up to the edge and looked down. The ravine reminded him highly of the pit to Tartarus. The same bottomless and chaotic darkness. He could only imagine the emotions whirling in Percy at that moment, but he revealed nothing of them. He was a true leader.

He took a couple of steps back, leaned on his left leg... and then took off jumping at the last possible moment. He felt his body losing to gravity around halfway across but then Percy cam through and shoved him across. Not gently. Leo nearly crashed into the cave wall.

"Oi Percy. Are you trying to kill me? There was no way in Hades that that was a slight push!"

"Sorry," Percy yelled across. "I think it came out stronger cause of the force in this temple. The air is literally buzzing with it. Alright then Cyrus, your turn." Percy looked at Cyrus with a coy smirk. The fox gulped and got ready to run into the jump.

His jump went a lot smoother than Leo's as Percy weakened his push.

"Percy your turn."

Percy took a deep breath. He would have to time this really well, and use the force midair to make sure the ice sheet wont fall when he steps onto it and take him down into the abyss alongside it.

He jumped and started gathering the water particles and froze them. As his foot touched the ice, the voice rang out even louder in his head, piercing through his skull. He felt his control over the force fail, and he fell, unconscious.

"PERCY!"

"PERCY!"
