"johoon? can you answer the question on the board?" the teacher randomly called on jihoon out of all people, which obviously got on jihoon's nerves. "I'm sorry! I mean jihoon, dang it."
jihoon sighed while a few student still managed to giggle at the english teache's mistake. he was too worried about having to answer the question to plot each giggling students' individual deaths.
english class was his least favorite class, apart from gym class, but that was a whole different story. he didn't feel confident at all when it came to speaking english and it really showed in the way that jihoon lowered his head everytime a question was given out to the class.
jihoon looked at the board and tried to read the english on the board. the class silenced as they looked at him, waiting for him to answer the question.
"um.." jihoon couldn't do it. his cheeks began to feel hot, they always did when he was embarrassed, and the class looked back to the front of the classroom to catch the teacher's reaction to jihoon's silence.
she understood how uncomfortable jihoon seemed just by how he looked visually and decided to just pick on someone else to answer the question. she looked around, scanning the room before picking on another unsuspecting student.
"taehyung? how about you?" the teacher called on taehyung who was completely zoned out and had to have Jungkook smack his shoulder to get his attention. all the girls giggled at that.
"uh. how is a your day?" taehyung said in a deep voice that would and did make all of the girls swoon over how hot and smart it sounded, even if jungkook whispered the answer in his ear.
"MY DAY IS GOOD!" taehyung yelled happily in a cute tone, making the girls who weren't already dead from the hotness die over how cute this boy was.
"no need to yell taehyung, but good job." the teacher congratulated taehyung who stuck his tongue out at jungkook and then went back to zoning out.
jihoon was still embarrassed as the class continued on, his pink cheeks his themselves but he still felt the embarrassment. this was yet another reason to why he hated social interactions. he hated being publicly called out and teased, it was just so embarassing.
soonyoung frowned when he saw how distracted jihoon looked by the humiliating experience and as a kind gesture he decided to comfort the latter.
soonyoung patted jihoon on the back softly, making jihoon flinch at the sudden physical contact, and told the shorter male that he would have better luck next time. jihoon didn't think so, but it did feel good to hear those words of comfort.
