"you're adorable." soonyoung repeated for the tenth time that day as jihoon fidgeted with the collar of his t-shirt. the blonde student's comments didn't help at all with easing jihoon's nerves, they only made him feel more nervous.

soonyoung looked at the boy like a proud mother as he used this opportunity to brush jihoon's soft hair, adjusting it for him. while jihoon tried to calm himself down.

jihoon had no idea how he found himself in this situation, but both he and soonyoung were outside of the club room in preparation for jihoon's showcase of his self-made song.

somehow he had let himself be convinced by soonyoung to show the other club members his musical talent, which seemed like a good idea at first but now freaked jihoon out.

"I'm nervous, this is my first time performing in front of a crowd." jihoon confessed, looking down at the ground. soonyoung pulled his head up with his right hand, making sure they were making eye contact.

"look you're going to be great, you're the most talented person in the wholest widest world-" soonyoung started off with a small smile. jihoon felt himself ease up off of the anxious feeling overwhelming his mind because he was distracted by the need to comment on soonyoung's stupidity. "wholest isn't a word."

"shut up I'm inspiring you." soonyoung was very quick to cut jihoon off. they looked at each other for a moment before breaking off into small chuckles, too focused with each other to notice jeonghan and joshua spying on them from behind of the slightly opened clubroom door. "you're like a little musical genius, if you can stand hanging out with me you can stand playing for boring people like wonwoo and joshua."

behind the door, jeonghan had to hold joshua back from running out and correcting soonyoung. joshua was the most entertaining person he knew, how dare the blonde student say that about him!

meanwhile inside the room, wonwoo felt himself his nose twitch before he covered it with the inside of his elbow as he sneezed. next to him, chan was very grateful that wonwoo hadn't sneezed on him like mingyu did last week at club.

the two males outside ignored the sneezes and smiled at each other. jihoon seemed to be more calmer than before, which was the result soonyoung was going for with his mini speech.

however, the nervous feeling returned when jihoon peered into the classroom to see all of the club members inside waiting excitedly for jihoon's entrance. they couldn't wait to hear what he was working on.

soonyoung sighed and chuckled when he saw the anxious glint on jihoon's eyes return. that was when soonyoung impulsively decided to lean in a plant a small kiss right on jihoon's cheek. "for luck, break a leg jihoonie!"

jihoon looked at soonyoung, frozen up by the sudden gesture. he had no idea how to respond to the kiss and soonyoung seemed to be proud of himself for silencing the shorter male like that.

then he got prouder at the fact that jihoon had gotten so flustered by the sudden action that the red glow spreading across his face had now made its way to his ears. jihoon had no idea how he was going to perform for the club given his face was now hot enough to cook a fried egg on it.

"holy shit!" joshua gasped at the sight of soonyoung kissing jihoon while jeonghan paused from delivering a flying kick right into his abdomen to also stare at the two outside.

jihoon felt himself turn even more red in the cheeks, if that was even possible at this point, and was reminded of exactly why he despised the devilish twins seungcheol called his friends.
