When Fiyero and Elphaba finally arrived at their hidden sanctuary, they unpacked all of their belongings, (fairly quickly, for Elphie didn't have much and Fiyero couldn't take much), they sat cuddled up on their cream and red tartan sofa.

"I really hate my skin colour you know."

Fiyero sat up and looked at her.

"Why? You look, different. A good different. Anyway, you must look fine because I came all the way out here with you, didn't I! " Fiyero chuckled, then saw Elphaba's scowl and abruptly stopped.

"You know I'm joking, El. No but really, you look great. Don't doubt yourself."

Elphaba nodded then concentrated on her book again.
But her mind started to wonder...

*Flashback*

"Oh, Elphie! You look beautiful!" Glinda whispered in Elphaba's ear and made a shiver go all the way up her body. But why?

"Pink goes good with green,"
A smile worked it's way onto the 'wicked witch's' face. Does it?

*end of flashback*

Why did Glinda make her feel so... special?

Then she had a sudden realisation that Fiyero had never, not once called her beautiful.
Different, yes.
Good, yes.
Smart, yes.
But never ever ever beautiful.

Only one person had called her beautiful and really meant it. Glinda.

Just the thought made her stomach flutter.

But I'm sat here with Fiyero!
Anyway, I can never go back.
I must learn to love Fi.
He's all I have left.

Once again, could be described as a filler. But,
it's not really?
Without this filler you'd never see her realisation about Glinda, but also the reason why she will stay with Fiyero, for a whileee

But all you Gelphie shippers out there (me being one of them, which is why this is a Gelphie book hahhaha) GELPHIE IS COMING, don't worry!

While the story is unfolding, remember that this IS still a gelphie book, so all you wildest fantasies will be fulfilled haha!

Actually, if anyone has anything specific they want in the book at some point feel free to leave a comment or private message me if you feel more comfortable doing that, and if I can I'll be sure to add it in!

until next time,
toodlepip!
