"Elphieeeee!"

"Don't call me that Fiyero."

Fiyero immediately felt stumped for words. What has happened to her? he thought. She seems, distant from me. I hope she hasn't changed her mind about me.

"I'm so sorry greenie, I'll call you El instead, sounds good?"

Elphaba shrugged.
"Sure."

Once they got settled into the carriage, there was a long, awkward silence. There was some sort of, unannounced tension between them, like a magnet drawing them apart.

The green girl cleared her throat and shuffled a bit, getting comfortable and finally settling herself cross-legged leaning on the window. As far from Fiyero that she could've possibly gotten at the time.

The scarecrow glanced over and felt instantly bad. What had he done to deserve this?! ALL he had done for her, and now the plan finally worked and this is how she repays him?!

On the other hand, Elphie's thoughts were completely different.
But, I love him! She thought. She struggled with the idea that she did truly love him, because now she just wasn't sure, and for some reason it didn't seem right anymore. It felt... Wrong. It felt... Unnatural. Like she was meant to be sitting next to someone else. Who else?

Glinda.

NO! I AM 100% NOT NOT NOT GAY!

You know you love her.

Nope.

Yes you do.

As much as she hated it, she couldn't stop thinking about how Glinda would've looked when she found out Elphaba, her best friend, was dead. Her beautiful gown, her signature bedazzled pink high heels, her perfectly curled blonde flowing locks...

And those eyes, her big, beautiful eyes.
They were the colour of pure innocence.
Blue- bright, clear, pure blue. Like a babies eyes. Amazing.

SHUT UP.
I love Fiyero.
NO
Yes. I'm going to sit and cuddle by the fire (but not too close to the fire for he'll be burnt) with FIYERO.
I'm going to toast marshmallows and make hot chocolate. With. Fiyero.

But as much as she tried to convince herself, it just didn't feel right anymore.

So there's another chapter. But of a filler, but it did need to be here otherwise the story wouldn't really make a lot of sense.
