Tora's POV

dream//flashback

BAM! My mum sent me flying backwards as I hit into her husband, the Kurta, who proceeded to repeatedly kick me,"Why can't you just die!"

But it wasn't me, I mean, it was me, but a younger me. It was like they couldn't see me, as I screamed for her to stop, that was it, they couldn't hear me. I just had to watch.

Tears streamed down my face as the abuse continued, younger me being dragged by her ears and her poor tail being strung up on the wall, her feline body hanging limply beneath it. A whip cracked against younger me's back as she cried out in agony, and the door swung open. I heard Onii-Chan scream out in a rage,"What are you doing to her!"

She could barely move, and meekly lifted her head to see him splashed with red, and the adults  on the floor, as good as dead. He walked towards younger me, picked her up, and planted a kiss on her forehead,"Tor, how long has this been happening"

Tears pooled in her eyes as she spoke,"Forever. They were just careful when you were around."

It was true, absolutely true.

He walked out with younger me in his arms, shutting the door, and walking into the streets of meteor city. I was about to follow the, when I saw something that made my blood run cold.

It was her

She was moving

She was still alive

"I swear on my life," she muttered while she looked at the dead Kurta,"I will kill that damned demon child, once and for all"

She looked up, a psychotic look in her eyes, she looked mad, not angry, absolutely insane. She began to giggle. The giggle turned into more of a cackle as she laughed and laughed some more, picking up a knife and a bottle before stumbling out the door.

dream//flashback over

I woke up, drenched in sweat. It was early in the morning, the sky turning pink. I could hear Kura's soft snores behind me, notifying me that he was still asleep. I was relieved, in a way, I didn't want to tell him. I could deal with it myself.

I slipped out of his arms and replaced my body with a pillow before creeping out onto the balcony, where I saw something that made me forget about my current dilemma... or at least push it to the back of my mind.

It was a black cat

Bleeding out

He had a massive gash extending from his left ear to the end of his back where his tail began. I nearly cried, as the memory of my mother came back. No, this cat needed help.

I quickly turned my back to the cat and headed inside to get a first aid kit when I felt something hit me, completely out of the blue. The cat was still there, but it seemed to be hurting itself more, with a certain power radiating from it.

Blood, it trickled down my spine as I patted my body, confused as to where it was coming from. I felt something touch the back of my head and everything went dark (not cliche at all)

Meanwhile with our fav couple... KilluGon (if you're into it) and the third wheel Leorio

Killua's POV

We are in a restaurant in a building close to where the two spiders are, sight out in the open. I can tell they're not scared of anyone coming after them. It makes me wonder if they act the same way around Tora. She believed their lies for so long, they must have been good actors. Speaking of Tor-

Gon cut off my thoughts,"Come in Killua! Let's go follow them!"
