Red, that was all I tasted. Red! It was the strongest scent in the air. The color of my vision- RED!

I could see my mother, standing there in her slightly drunken state, swaying out of my old house,"I'll kill her, her and her two brothers". RED!

Two? RED!

A boy a bit older than me stood outside the window, scars all over his cheeks. RED!

I could see it clearly now. A boy around two years older than me, who shared the same fate, and suffered by the same people... RED!

He was there with me, the whole time, locked away whenever Chrollo came. RED!

He whispered something, barely audible,"I'll find you, Imouto" RED!

That was it, it was him, the memories came back in a flash. Two minutes older than me, the same suffering, the same parents, the same blood, the same fate.

Red was all I could see, was all I could smell, was all I could feel.

"Onii-chan?"
