Kai swung Ezra's green lightsaber round quickly but accurately deflecting everyone of the blue milk cartons that Chopper thew at him. Ezra was very impressed as a big smile lit up his face and even Kanan seemed impressed by what seemed to be Kai's natural talents with a lightsaber. Chopper beeped to signal that he'd thrown all the cartons as Kai deactivate the saber and gave it back to Ezra. "I could do that to," Dawn mumbled as she leaned against the cargo hold wall. Ezra and Kanan looked at each other than back at Dawn. "Go on then little Dawn, let's see how you do," he almost laughed as he handed her the lightsaber. She walked over and took it, "Chopper set it up again," she called to Chopper. Chopper just grumbled as he wheeled around the cargo hold's floor picking up the blue milk cartons. Chopper then went back to where he was stood before and started to throw the cartons towards Dawn. Dawn quickly deflected and first, second and third one before turning to brag. "See Kai I can do it to," she smirked as Kai just smiled sweetly at her, he knew this wasn't a competition but apparently Dawn didn't. At that point Chopper decided to have a bit more fun with Dawn. He started to throw the cartons more rapidly as Dawn. She swung and tried to keep up but soon enough the cartons swept her off her feet. As Dawn dropped the lightsaber rolled out her hand and rolled over to next to Ezra's feet. He picked it up as Dawn stumbled to her feet, "I think you might need a little more practice little Dawn." Dawn was frustrated "let me try again!" She snapped. Ezra shrugged and tossed his lightsaber to her. Once again Chopper started throwing the cartons towards her; and once again she hit the first few but then slipped on a carton on the floor and fell to the ground. "Again!" She snapped, she was not willing to lose to Kai. Ezra was about to give her the lightsaber when Kanan stopped him. "No," he muttered to Ezra as he gave him a signal to put his lightsaber away. "No Dawn, you're too upset, Jedi don't fight though emotions." Kanan muttered. "Same way you obeyed your emotions," Dawn muttered under her breath. At that point Hera appeared on the balcony above them. "Dawn, why don't you go outside and cool off," she muttered kindly as Dawn walked over to open the door and walked out shutting it behind her. "Ezra, Kai, Chop can you give Kanan and I a few minutes to talk please." Ezra, Kai and Chopper then looked at each other and went over to go up the ladder. They passed Hera and went back towards the living quarters. Hera climbed down the ladder and walked over towards Kanan. She walked past him a little way then stopped to pick up a carton of blue milk that had been left on the floor and put it on the side. "Hera I..." Kanan started. "Kanan don't even," Hera sharply replied he back turned to Kanan and her hand placed on the side, "you left us, you left me, you left everything," he voice dropped as she spoke. "Hera, I did what I had to," Kanan answered trying to stay calm. Hera shot round to face him as she spoke in a 'loud conversation' "you could have called! You could have come home! Come back to Yavin 4!"
"I wanted to!" Kanan snapped before he took a breath "I wanted to. I just needed to be somewhere."
Hera by this point had started to walk back towards the ladder, she stopped to speak but kept her back to Kanan "well maybe you should go back there," she mumbled as she started to climb the ladder.
