Lucy led me up the long staircase and into the world's biggest bedroom. I kid you not my entire family's apartment (courtesy of the Organization) could fit into that room. The ceilings were tall like outer space tall. White crown moldings separated the powder pink walls from the cream ceiling. On the left wall was a beautiful white canopy bed with pink silk sheets. Next to it was a huge matching dresser. On the back wall was a desk. This room was perfectly decorated.
"Wow," I whispered, looking around in amazement.
"That's not all," Lucy said, leading me through a door on the right wall.
We walked into the biggest closet ever. Lucy pointed towards the left wall, "Those are all of your school clothes, shoes, and accessories. There's a uniform but most girls spice it up with a cute pair of shoes and some jewelry."
Then she pointed to the right wall, "Those are weekend clothes. The gowns are for dances and business functions."
Finally we looked towards the back wall. There was a giant makeup and hair table. Next to it a beautiful changing screen.
"Well," I said as I looked down to my suitcase, " I guess I don't need my own clothes anymore."
"Yes, well, you see," Lucy said, "I've been working with the organization for years now in the disguise department. After doing my research on the Larson Prep popular group I've come to find that this is what they wear. If we want to succeed, you must dress the part."
"I totally get it! This might be one of the fun parts of the assignment!"
"Great! Now onto the bathroom!"
We went into the bathroom. In there was a huge soaking tub and walk in shower. Very fancy!
After the tour of my quarters, Lucy said, "Now let's get on with your makeover!"
"Makeover?!" I replied.
She sat me down at my makeup table and examined my face for a while. Suddenly she got an idea and grabbed the scissors from the table. Next thing I knew my mid-back length hair was three inches shorter. The ruby red tone had more highlights and a darker undertone. Each piece was perfectly curled.
"Oh wow," I gasped looking in the mirror.
"Now for makeup!" Lucy exclaimed.
Within an hour my face was perfectly contoured, my acrylic nails perfectly done, and my lashes perfectly curled. I went from a nerdy spy to a perfect teenage goddess within two hours.
"Now," Lucy said, "you are ready to go register with your father. Put this on and you'll be good to go!"
She handed me ripped light wash short jean shorts, a white cropped shirt that said "New York Soho" on it, a flannel, and white Converses.
The perfect disguise, hopefully my acting would be believable. This was my hardest mission yet!
