Cold shoulder

After what Jin had said to you, you couldn't sleep at all at night. It just added up to the things that constantly bugged, and kept you awake on silent nights.

You groaned and buried your face in your hands, rolling around in the soft cloth of your blanket.

You already had Jungkook and Minjee to worry about.

Now you had to worry about Jin.

Could it get any worse?

Suddenly, your phone buzzed on your bedside table, you gently picked it up.

The notification was from your cousin, Min Soo.

"Sorry for intentionally bothering you and Jungkook."

You furrowed your brows......

Intentionally?

"I wanted to get you both together, I guess that didn't work did it?"

"I'm leaving tomorrow, please call me if you need anything."

"Okay."

You set your phone back down and tried to get a goodnight sleep.

The blaring sound of your alarm clock woke you up. You groaned and sat up, rubbing your eyes.

Turns out, you didn't get much sleep last night.

You started your morning routine and put your uniform on, getting ready to go to school.

You missed your best friend.

But you didn't want to seem like a clingy best friend. He used to always wake up beside you, eat breakfast with you, tease you, and walk to school with you.

You shook your head, you were probably overreacting!

It's only been three days after all.

He still hasn't texted you or called.

And that made you worried and hurt, had he replaced you already?

You shook all your thoughts away from your head.

He wouldn't do that, right?

You decided to walk to school, exiting your house and locking the door.

You bumped into someone while stepping out of your house.

You looked up and saw Jin smiling softly at you.

"Ready to go?"

The days continued on steadily, and soon a week passed.

Jungkook talks to you, yes. But he doesn't come by anymore. Whenever you try to schedule something with him, he cancels last minute, stating that Minjee needed him and that he was sorry.
