Of Injections and Fur

A/N: Well, let's just say that I'm quite the procrastinator, but here you go! One crappy, hella weird chapter!

You groaned as your eye lids fluttered open, light immediately streaming through the cracks and blinding the shit out of your eyes.

What a start.

You blinked a few times to get used to the surgery like bright lighting of the room.

You tried to lift your head to see where you were, but to no avail. Your body recoiled against something and you were detained, attached to what you assumed was a hospital bed. You shifted your limbs, realizing that they were bound too.

Instead of brooding and going into a momentary state of unhealthy panic, you took a couple deep breaths and turn you head, trying to get a peripheral view of where you were.

Just think of positive things...

At least you weren't blind folded.

Your eyes met the sight of Jungkook's face, angled to meet your own. Your gaze met his gaze that screamed 'danger' and 'oh shit'. His chocolate eyes were blown wide, and he had wires and tubes attached to him, presumably drawing out his precious hybrid blood.

Did someone find out?

"Ah... Specimen 2 is conscious, I'm not sure about specimen 3 though." A deep voice resonated in the area, accompanied by the sounds of heels and shoes scraping against the ground.

Two people in lab coats came into your view, one man and a woman.

The woman stated to write on a dashboard, monitoring Jungkook's movements and responses. The man however bent down to your level, he brushed your hair out of your eyes and studied your form.

If you weren't in your current position, you might've found this man attractive....

The man stood up, and walked around you, and you craned your head to see where he was going.

You ended up turning your head the other direction, your eyes lading on Jin's unconscious body.

You heard a gasp behind you, Jungkook.

"GET AWAY FROM HYUNG!" You heard him grunt, the woman tried to calm him down, the sounds of writing had long ceased.

You furrowed your brows as you watched, heart rate increasing rapidly.

The man didn't cease his movements, opting to take a syringe filled with black liquid and try to insert it into Jin.

"Stop!" You screamed.

You guys were specimens, and Jin was going to be tested on.

The man halted his movement, and he gazed at you, cold eyes looking over to you.

"No can do, you see. Specimen one was the first hybrid to ever be found. It was probably a fluctuation his DNA, a build in mutation in order to survive a traumatic event. It's a wonder that he hadn't been found out sooner. You, specimen two will be their.... well... bitch, if I say so eloquently."

He chuckled as he watched your expression morph into one of disgust and fear.

"I'm just going to turn your little friend over here into a leopard hybrid, a rare species of the snow leopard...." he whispered as he stuck the needle into Jin's neck.

You heard a thump beside you and you heard Jungkook whisper.

"I'm so sorry hyung....."

After, he tampered with Jin's wires and walked towards your bed, holdings purple looking syringe.

"Now.... It's your turn......."
