Chapter Eight- "Carley Talks About You."

NOAH'S POV

I decided I had gotten bored of waiting around with everyone once Carley got here. I walked over to the door.

"Guys I'll be righ-" I started to say opening the door, but stopped in my tracks when I saw Carley standing there frozen.

"Just the girl I was looking for!" I said smiling, which easily relaxed her.

I looked at her up and down quickly without her noticing. She looked very beautiful in her outfit. I would tell her that, but we only just met. No need to freak her out already.

   I pulled her in for a quick hug. It honestly felt right. It made me smile when she easily melted into my touch.

I put my hand on her shoulder to lead her where everyone else was. She tensed at first, but relaxed quickly. I didn't have to touch her, but something about her made me want to have contact with her.

"Guys, she's here!" I shouted to the cast.

"She has a name." Carley whispered teasingly and I looked down at her, smiling.

"Guys, Carley is here!" I shouted again to the cast, correcting myself.

Millie ran over quickly and I dropped my hand from her shoulder, instantly regretting it. Millie pulled Carley with her to where all the cast members were.

I turned around seeing Carley's mom. Flip, what do I say?

"Hey, I'm Noah Schnapp. You must be Mrs. Nicholson." I said shaking her hand.

"I know who you are. Carley talks about you." She said with the biggest smile ever.

"I'm sure she talks about everyone." I said not getting my hopes up.

"Oh, yes, definitely, but it's a never ending thing with you." Mrs. Nicholson said laughing.

"Your daughter is very lovely." I stared looking over at her.

"She is isn't she?" She said, mirroring my action.

I smiled. She was talking to Joe and David. You could tell it was hard for her to keep in her excitement. I laughed and she looked over my way. Our eyes locked and her face started to turn pink.

I swear, that's the cutest thing I've ever seen.

"Go." Mrs. Nicholson said, smiling down at me.

"Are you sure, I don't want to leave y-" I started to say.

"Noah, I'll be fine. Besides, I think I can get to know some more famous people." She said with a wink and then walked off.

I looked back at Carley, she was still talking to Joe.
I made my way over to her.

"Hey!" I said giving Joe a side hug.

"Hey dude. How ya been?" Joe said with a smirk on his face.

"Good, you?" I said glancing over at Carley.

She was looking at the ground, smiling.

"Spectacular. Nice to meet you Carley, I think I'll go make my rounds." He said nodding to Carley and winking at me.

I looked at Carley, who kept her gaze to the ground. I could tell she was shy. Why so shy though is what I didn't understand?

"I know someone you should meet." I said, making Carley look up.

"Who?" Carley said raising her eyebrow.

"It's a surprise!" I said.

I looked around for Winona and then quickly covered Carley's eyes. I made my way toward her while Carley whined on the way to her.
