"M-Maine?" I asked.

"Yeah." She said.

"When?"

"I'm leaving the day after the last day of filming." She told me.

Her eyes went back to her lap. A sad expression engulfed her face. I knew she was happy to get such an amazing opportunity, but she has to leave her home state.

"Hey, we can still call each other and facetime." I told her.

"I guess, but it just won't be the same." She told me.

I engulfed her into a hug that she gladly accepted. She buried her face in the crook of my neck. We stood there awhile, enjoying each others company and thinking.

I wasn't going to see Carley for awhile. A movie usually takes a few months. She would be all the way in Maine. I can't even remember what is had been like without her.

"I should be happy, but I can't make myself." She whispered.

"Carley, you are becoming an actress. You are just going to have to give up some to get in a good place." I told her, honestly.

"But I never thought anything like this would happen. Me auditioning for Charlotte was just for fun." She sighed.

"It still is for fun. If you aren't having fun, what is the point in doing it?" I asked.

"Money." She told me.

I laughed lightly.

"Okay, you have a point, but were you doing it for the money?" I asked.

"No, but I could have been doing it for the fame." She told me.

"I highly doubt that." I told her.

"True." She replied, causing me to laugh again.

I pulled away from the hug.

"You are going to do great things one day, Carley. You don't need me to hold your hand the whole way through." I told her.

She glanced down at my hand, before boldly intertwining them. A small blush flushed her face as she did it.

"Then how about for just right now?" She asked.

I smiled at that. I would hold her hand forever.

CARLEY'S POV

"Since you are leaving in four days, It looks like we are going to have to make best of it." Noah told me.

"What do you mean?" I asked him.

"You'll see." He told me with an evil look on his face, that wasn't so evil.

With our connected hands, Noah pulled us to the living room. With only one hand, Noah grabbed his phone and started typing on it. When I tried to look at his screen, he brought it closer to his chest.

He had gotten finished and placed the phone next to him. Without hesitation, I grabbed his phone to look. We quickly snatched the phone out of my grasp before I could even do anything.

"It's rude to snatch things from people." I told him.

"If rude is the worst thing that you will call me all day, then I think I am doing alright." he told me.
