We finally arrived at Millie's mansion of a house and relaxed on the couch.

"Let's watch a movie!" Millie said, after 10 minutes of silence.

"Okay? What kind?" I asked.

"A horror!" Millie and Noah yelled at the same time.

Ohhhh frick no. Carley does whatever movie besides horror. I get way, way, way too scared way too easily. I am scared of everything!

"A romantic comedy?" I asked.

"What? Is Carley scared of ghost and zombies?" Noah asked, in a teasing manner.

"Carley is scared of everything." I said sinking farther into the couch.

"Carley, it's still day time. It won't be as scary." Millie said.

"Oh, no it wind I'm making sure that there will be no ounce of light in your living room." Noah said.

"How about, I go up to your room and watch YouTube, while y'all are down here watching a scary movie?" I asked them.

"No way! You can't leave me here with Noah!" Millie said.

"Uh, rude!" Noah yelled back.

"I swear, y'all are like children." I said rolling my eyes.

"The cutest children you've ever seen." Millie said, putting a hand under her chin.

"Yeah, Okay." I said laughing.

"Hey!" Noah said.

We all broke out into a laughing fit.

"Carley, please stay and watch the movie. Millie and I will both be right next to you and we can have a blanket for protection." Noah said holding a blanket in his hand.

"Fine, but you have to go make popcorn, so I can throw it at the screen." I said pouting my lip.

"Okay princess." He said rolling his eyes and getting up to make the popcorn.

"He called you princess!" Millie whispered excitedly.

"Millie, stop acting like that." I said changing my position on the couch.

"Sorry... it's just... don't you like him?" I asked, seriously.

"Of course! He's a great friend." I said, trying to throw her off.

"No, I mean as more than a friend." She asked again.

"I don't know what you are talking about." I said, clearly my plan was not working.

Was it that obvious that I liked him?

"Carley, don't you trust me?" Millie asked.

That one sentence brought back loads of memories that hurt to think about.

"Carley, don't you trust me?" Sierra asked.

"Yes! It's just not that simple!" I said back to her.

"I promise, I can keep a secret! Nothing will ever happen!" Sierra said, with pleading eyes.

She never gave me a reason not to trust her.

"I like Jake. We are really good friends and I'm pretty sure he likes me back! He makes me so happy Sierra and no guys ever take interest in me!" I said staring at my lap.

"Carley?" Millie asked.

"Sorry, I was deep in thought." I told her putting my full attention on her.
