Chapter Thirtytwo - The Set-Up

   I came off of set, upset I forgot my phone in the car all day. I screamed at myself internally for being so stupid.

   I walked up to the door of the car and opened it, expecting my mom to be in there. She wasn't.

   I grabbed my phone and decide to go through Instagram. I liked a few pictures on fan accounts and even commented. As I went to photos I was tagged in, my eyes widened. There was a photo of Liam and I everywhere.

   I was freaking out. I found the account that people got it from and I nearly jumped out of the car. It was Lila, Luke, and Liam's account. They had nearly a million followers on their Instagram account.

   I looked at all the people who had like it and I saw Noah and Millie's usernames.

   I literally gasped.

MILLZ- EXPLAIN.

Me- He's a fan!

MILLZ- read the caption...

I scrolled up to the picture she sent me and read the caption. I couldn't believe what I was seeing. My hear began to race and my palms got sweaty (THERE'S VOMIT ON HIS SWEATER, MOM'S SPAGHETTI! Too far??)

The caption said, "Looks like Liam has a new interest!"

And for the second time, I almost fell out of my seat...

Me- What did Noah say?

MILLZ- ask him...

Me- Millie!

MILLZ- fight me.

Me- I will.

   I sat there and contemplated what to say for a good 30 seconds. What should I say?

   DING DING

My phone went off for the 10000 time. I glanced down,but this time it was a dm from the twins and Lila. My minds now was distracted from what I was going to say to Noah.

Want to grab a bite at the cafe, next to the beach?

On cue, my mom's door flung open. My head flew over to where she stood and I looked at her like she just killed a puppy. Her happy face, slowly morphed into a confused expression.

   "What?" He asked, knitting her eyebrows together.

   "Sorry, I wasn't expecting you." I told her, immediately realizing that I didn't mean that.

   "Were you expecting the president?" She asked, shutting the door after she got in.

   "Not what I meant." I laughed.

   I glanced at my phone and then looked back over at my mom, innocent.

   "What?" She asked, slowly.

   "Mind doing me a favor?"

LIAM'S POV

I sat in the booth with my twin and my sister. Glancing at the door every time it opened. To say I was anticipated was an understatement.

"Liam, calm yourself." Lila laughed.

"Calm? I'm calm. What do you mean calm yourself? I'm totally calm. I've never been so calm in my whole entire life. What do you mean c-"

"Hey guys?" A familiar voice asked.

For some reason I froze, but quickly gained my composure and slowly turned my head to where Carley stood. I put an uninterested look on my face to hide my excitement.

We exchanged eye contact and I flipped.

Wow, I really sound like a girl.

"So, what's up?" She asked, sitting next to Lila.

"Nothing much, ju- OH, would you look at the time! Me and Luke have that.." Lila's words started to fade and my suspicion started to grow.

"THING! We have that thing!" Luke exclaimed.

"Please excuse our absents, but Liam will keep you company." Lila winked.

"You know, we can do this another time if you are busy." Carley said, and she started getting up.

"NO, we can't possibly ruin this... lovely-" Luke started to say.

"LOVEly evening for you!" Lila finished.

"Okay, hugs and kisses Carley! See you later!" Lila beamed.

"Later, Carl." Luke said and before I could speak, they booked it out the door.

I stared at the door.

"They didn't even wave good bye to their own brother..." I said to myself, making Carley laugh a little.

I turned toward her and she had a small smile on her face, but you could clearly see she was uncomfortable.

"I'm beginning to think they set us up." Carley said, scrunching up her nose.

"Yes, I have to agree." I said, scratching the back of my neck, awkwardly.
