Tears streamed down my face as I struggled against Junhoe's grip. I told him to let me go, to rethink what he was doing. However, my struggle was futile. Junhoe's strong arms pinned me into the car and trapped me from escaping. I couldn't do anything but scream. It seemed my fate had been sealed, until he appeared.
When he called out to us, I turned my gaze towards him. His silhouette was concealed in a thick fog. The dark outline of his form sent chills running down my spine. He was cool.
My kidnapper's interest had also been peaked. He paused in his attack against me to look into the distance, where the voice had emitted. I tried to get away from him while he was distracted, but he relocked his strong grip onto my arm, causing me to cry out in pain.
"I told you to leave her alone."
I glanced back at the man coming towards us. I was startled when he fully appeared out of the mist, revealing his identity.
Park Jimin had appeared to rescue me. His face glowed in the light of an overhead street lamp. It illuminated his beautiful eyes and perfect skin.
His steps echoed on the concrete sidewalk as he walked closer towards us. Junho narrowed his eyes, and shoved me further into the car, slamming the door behind me. I squeaked as I fell onto the leather seats. I tried opening the door, but he had locked it from the outside, and no amount of slamming would reopen it.
I was forced to watch their encounter through the dirty car window. As Jimin approached, I saw Junho smirk. He stopped in front of Junho. His eyes glanced to the window, at my worried gaze, before glancing back at Junho's.
"I'll admit, I was expecting V.", Junho chuckled darkly in greeting.
Junho's amusement wasn't returned. Jimin's face remained steely cold in contrast to his opponent's. I held my breath, waiting for what he would say in return.
"Taehyung wasn't able leave the dorm. He sent me to make sure Kim Jisoo got home alright.", He paused before continuing, "And I'm glad he did. I can't believe an idol from her own company would treat her this way."
Junhoe simply shrugged, offering Jimin nothing more than a quick glance over before turning his head away."It's none of your business."
Jimin's hand jammed into his pocket, and came out with a phone. "It's definitely the cops business though."
Even from my position I could see Junhoe stiffen. The threat made him nervous. As an idol, if he got involved with the cops, his career was over.
"You're bluffing.", Junhoe huffed.
He shifted uneasily on his feet, glancing from his car, to Jimin. Jimin simply cocked his eyebrow.
"You wanna find out? They'll be here any minute now."
Junhoe bit the inside of his cheek. With a low groan, he finally gave in, "Fine, take her. But this isn't the end, Park Jimin. I'll destroy your career as well as Jisoo's."
"You can try ruining BTS's success. I doubt it will work, but go ahead. It's not like we're the most popular K-pop group in the world, or anything."
Junhoe glared, saying nothing. Finally, he opened the car door withholding me. I spilled out, instantly scrambling to Jimin's side. I hid behind him, casting a glare at Junhoe.
Junhoe had one last thing to say. "BTS is not invisible. iKon will rise above both of you on the charts, and destroy both groups reputations."
He turned his back on us, and entered his car. The engine roared to life. It startled me. I grabbed onto Jimin's shirtsleeve. He stiffened up, but kept his eyes on the sedan until it disappeared.
The car drove away into the night. When it's red backlights could no longer be seen, Jimin turned to me. He put his arms on my shoulders and studied my face.
"Are you okay?", He worriedly gasped.
I nodded hesitantly. "I am now that you're here."
Jimin shyly shifted. We didn't know each other very well, but I felt incredibly greatful for his help and felt the need to vocalize it.
"Taehyung sent me to make sure you were okay.", Jimin explained.
"But Junhoe could have seriously hurt you! You saved me."
"I mean... I couldn't just leave you..."
Sensing the embarrassment rolling off Jimin in waves, I shut my mouth on the topic. But, I still had other questions.
"Did you actually call the cops?"
"No", Jimin sighed, "That was just a bluff. BTS can't get into any scandals right now. It would explode on the internet. I'm glad he believed it, though."
I nodded thoughtfully. "Me too."
Jimin fell silent, and so did I. I stared at him, but he was too reserved to even look at me. Suddenly, I reached out and grabbed his hand.
"Will you take me home, then?"
Jimin froze up. When he glanced down at our hands, his gaze softened.
"Sure. If it makes you feel safer.", He murmured gently.
"It does.", I responded softly.
We walked along together in silence. I stayed glue to his side until we reached the bus stop. We got on the bus together, and it took us to my dorms. Our hands only disconnected when we reached my door.
"Are you going to tell Taehyung about this?", I asked.
"Of course! His girlfriend was nearly kidnapped. He needs to know about it."
I nodded with a sigh. Jimin bit his lip, before speaking again.
"Will you tell YG?"
The question startled me. I glanced up at Jimin nervously, before glancing back at the dorm building.
"I... I don't know. I'm not as close with him as BTS is with their producer. If I told him, he might not believe me."
When I glanced at Jimin again, he was studying me intently. Surprised by his stare, I glanced to my feet.
"Well then. I guess this is where we part ways.", I sighed.
Jimin nodded, "Sleep well.", He said sweetly.
He gave me his signature eyesmile. I smiled back, my heart fluttering for just a moment. Then I turned and opened the door. Jimin left a few minutes after me.
Short chapter, I know. I rewrote it a couple of times. What do y'all think of Jisoo and Jimin? They're cute, right? Hahah, don't worry, I'll give y'all some TaehyungxJisoo loving soon.
