Flaming Dreams [Pokemon]

Chapter 5: "Volcano training"

Blaine also returned his Pokemon and said “You two make a good team! Still, there are things you can do better. So…If you don't mind, we can start training right away. Ladies first!”

“OK then, Ty, you're up first!” I told him. Both me and Blaine burst out laughing, while Tyler was standing there…blushing.

“Ha ha, very funny, Chelle!” Tyler muttered back.

“Oh come on, Ty. It was just a joke.” I tried to make him feel better.

“Alright,” said Blaine, recovering from laughter “Let's start anyways. Magcargo, go!”

The Lava Pokemon entered the field.

“I'll go with Poliwag.” Tyler also sent out his Pokémon.

I desided to sit down, eat some leftover salad and to watch Tylers training. 

"Poliwag, bubble!"

"Stone Edge, Magcargo!"

Oh, so they were working on Bubble.

I didn't focus on their trainig too much, just hearing voices.

"Maaag..." the Lava Pokémon cried.

"Good job Poliwag, now charge and use Double Slap!"

I put the empty salad box back in my bag. I was tired, a small nap won't hurt me.

"Great job, Poliwag."

"Ok, Tyler, now try something like this with Water Gun. Magcargo, Gyro Ball and Flamethrower."

I slightly opened my eyes to see a flaming ball charging towardas Poliwag.

"Poliwag, use Water Gun...ergh...Aqua Wheel!"

The Tadpole Pokémon,  surrounded by water, rushed towards Magcargo.

I closed my eyes again, hearing the two Pokémon crashing into each other multiple times and cryes.

It had bren about five minutes when I felt bright light coming through my eyelids.

Opening them I saw Poliwag using the so called Aqua Wheel, but glowing in a blueish light.

Tyler, Blaine and Magcargo were standing, mouths oped and I think we all knew, that little Poliwag is evolving.

The Tadpole Pokémon crashed into Magcargo. Bouncing back he got rid of the water a revealed his new appearance.

The small Poliwag had lost his tail and mouth, now having two arms and two legs. The spiral on his stomach also grew bigger. All that gave him a touher look.

"Great job, Poliwhirl!"

"Magcargo, return!" Blaine said, now turning to Ty.

"What an improvement, Tyler. I'm impressed - by the way you battled and your new friend."

"Thanks, Blaine." Ty answered, returned Poliwhirl and walked back to the benches.

Now it was my turn. I ran to the battlefield,  Magbys Pokéball in my hand.

"Go, Magby!"

"Hmm..." mumbled Blaine.

"I think I have the best training partner for you. Go!" he yelled.

His Pokémon enteeed the field.

It had a red and yellow body with two strong legs. Both of its hands had five sharp claws on it and at the tip of te tail had a powerful flame on it.

Magmar, the evolved form of Magby.

"Ok then, let's go, Magby. Use Feint Attack!"

Magby disappeared.
