Flaming Dreams [Pokemon]

Chapter 20: "Recovery"

I tried to force myself awake, but my tiredness got the hold of me and I fell asleep.

I was moving, I could feel it.

I opened my eyes, looking at the metal room…I guess…where I was. This room had a window and all I could see from there was blue - a very familiar blue. I stepped closer and saw a tube - the Marine Tube to be exact - in the distance. So I was on the same submarine that tried to run me over the last time I was in this dream.

At least I assume this is the same dream.

I was pulled out of my thoughts, as I heard someones footsteps echoing in the submarine, coming closer. I looked around, searching for a place to hide, but the section I'm in was completely empty. I just stood there, hoping that a miracle would happen.

And a miracle did happen, but since I'm in a dream, I wouldn't considered this as one.

The door on my left swung open and the green-haired woman stepped in. I was terrified, but she didn't even see me and walked right through me. Literally. She pursued going towards the door on my left. When I had made sure no one can see me, I followed her. 

My mouth fell open after entering this room…or section of the submarine. It was filled with cages of my Pokémon and Alice's Pokémon. And in the far back was Alice herself. I searched for Houndour and Gallade. Their cages were next to each other and they were unconscious. At least I hope they were and nothing worse.

The green-haired woman walked past the cages, grinning at the Pokémon. They were all scared and afraid to growl back. I don't blame them, because what happened to two of their friends could easily happen to them, too.

The woman made her way to Alice's cage. Alice didn't seem scared at all and sat in her little prison, eyes closed. 

"What do you want, Bryony?" Alice said.

Bryony…I've heard Aliana say that name before.

She kicked the bars of the cage lightly and glared at her.

"We're almost there. Then you can start working." She told Alice and turned around, looking right in my eyes. "And help us succeed!"

Bryony walked through me again and suddenly, I felt everything swirling. The room, the cages, the Pokémon and Alice all melted into one big nothing. It was like I was being sucked into darkness. I was dizzy and before I knew it, it was over.

I opened my eyes once more, but this time, it was much more brighter that in the dream. I examined my surroundings. I was on a clearing in the forest, lying on the ground with someones jacket as a blanket. There was a campfire a few steps away from me along with Grant, Korrina and Laura sitting around it. Valerie was sitting down, leaning against a tree, stroking her Sylveon. And then there was Siebold and another woman, who I didn't recognize, sitting close to the fire, mixing something in a bowl.

I also tried to get up in a sitting position, but it ended with me falling back on the ground.

"Oh, so you're awake now." I heard a voice.

I gazed up and saw Tyler, who was staring at me.

"Mhm. Where are we?" I asked him.

"In a forest." He answered with no emotion.

"Geez, thank for telling me. I didn't even notice." I replied sarcasticly.

"I'm done." Tyler said and got up, making his way to the fire. He told something to the others and motioned at me. Laura literally jumped and ran towards me.
