Funmi's POV

My jaw still stung even after twenty minutes, it still stung like hell.

That skyscraper is going to get it! So help me God, I will put pepper in all of his boxers!

I chose not to go back upstairs and settle down in the first living room, away from all the noise that the adults made coming from the second living room, totally ignoring the fact I had left my phone lying on the bed even thought I wanted to rant to Dubem and Han about how much I hated skyscraper.

I just made myself comfortable in one of the armchairs that faced the air conditioner directly. The cool breeze fanning my skin leaving my face tingling in the most fabulous way.

Aunty Funke has gone to continue her chat with my mum and Skyscraper's mum. Their conversation had shifted to wigs and lace fronts. How they knew about these things, please don't ask me.

I was getting really hungry, I only had a banana this morning and since then nothing. I had enough and walked into the kitchen to ask Sade.
I met her slicing up onions, humming to herself at the sink. She worked quickly, with the kind of speed you acquire when you a particular thing over and over again.

"Aunty when will food be ready?" I asked her sitting on one of the island stools."I'm hungry."

"Oh okay, pele(sorry) I go soon finish for here(I will soon finish up with what I am currently doing.) But take biscuit from the cupboard there." She pointed to the cupboard she was referring to.

Aunty Sade is officially my favourite person now.

I walked over to the cupboard and took out the shortbread one, thanked her and walked back to the first living room munching on my new found treat in bliss until I met one boy sitting in my SEAT. Can you imagine? I just left for like five minutes and one ode(idiot) is balancing on my chair pressing phone.Even though I didn't buy the chair.... still I was sitting there, can't he see the bumbum marks my amazing butt left there.

"Excuse me, guy." The boy rose his head to stare at me. "You're on my seat."

The resemblance was striking, he was obviously Tunde's brother, Dele. He wore a flannel shirt with a plain grey tee, blacks jeans and a pair of yeeyz. He looked more mature and collected than Tunde. Maybe because he was older.

He smiled, "Of course, sorry I didn't know you were seated here before."

He immediately stood up and walked to the other armchair, settling himself there properly. Finally, the only teenage so far who is normal in this house by my standards. I already like him, he just goes with the flow, unlike that Skyscraper of a human being.

"Thanks." I said munching on of the biscuits I had with me. After a few boring of me munching and him pressing I got bored. He is so quiet, jeez. How can you sit for so long without making a single sound? Like which planet are you from?

Erh....you wanna watch tv?" I asked grabbing the two remotes from the side table next to my seat. One for the Samsung and the other for the dstv explora.

He looked up from his phone and gave me a blank stare. "What did you say?"

I rolled my eyes and said again."Do you want to watch tv? Because you are so busy on your phone and I didn't want to disturb you or if I should take my tv watching business elsewhere."

He laughed,"you talk really fast did you know that?"

"Are we watching tv or not?"

He shoved his phone into his front jean pocket and turned to face the tv."We are. Can you spare me a biscuit?"

I switched on the tv, threw him the pack and started navigating through channels. I settled for TLC and one of my favourite shows was playing, Cake Boss. The cakes Buddy make are the most amazing things, they are so carefully crafted and unique. He is Hannah's favourite person ever, thinking about her I kinda of already miss the girls.
