Funmi's POV

"Funmi! Funmi!" A distant voice called, I groaned in response.

The voice got louder as it came closer, I put my pillow over my head to block out the annoying sound."Funmi! Fumniii! Get up! We need to have our bath."

My sweet soundproof pillow was dragged from my head and was used to hit me repeatedly causing me to sit upright and ready to whack whatever evil thing that was preventing me from sleeping. The evil thing proceed to drag open the curtains causing light to flood into my previously dark room.

"What is it? Why are you shouting in my ear?" I said groggily rubbed off whatever sleep was still in left in my eyes. It was obvious that the person won't let me go back anyways. I squinted in bright light trying to get a good look who it was. The figure came into focus more, Gbemi I guessed. I heaved a deep sigh and climbed out of my bed and stretched, bones popping then I turned to look at  her properly."Yes, Madam what do you want?"

"Go get ready." Said the girl who was still in her minnie mouse pyjamas.

"Why aren't you ready?"

"Cause Bukie is just hogging the bathroom singing to Justin Bieber and slowly destroying the cells in my ears so I decided to come bug you to wake up."

"Ahn... So basically you want to use my bathroom?" I said stroking my chin. "You know, I can't allow dirty peasants like you to destroy the bathroom with your different smells and whatnot."

"Ugh...whatever just go before Mum see the both of us now." Gbemi said looking at the door anxiously.

"Okay okay." I walked towards the bathroom door. "Before she start this early morning."

I locked the door behind me, opened up the cupboard that was besides the mirror and took out my toothbrush and toothpaste, hastily cleaned my teeth. I removed my pyjamas and dumped them in the dirty clothes bin that was at a corner of the room then stepped into the shower hopefully it would wake me up completely.

I flipped the switch that controlled the hot water and engulfed myself completely in the water.

The hot water cascaded down my back making me shiver. I stood embracing the water for what seemed like forever. I got out of the bathroom and wrapped a towel around my body.

Gbemi was seated cross legged on my bed with her towel slung across her shoulder. She was scrolling through her phone looking at intensely at her screen.
I walked over to her side and waved my fingers in front of her face trying to grab her attention.

"Hello, Earth to Gbemisola."

She snapped out of her trance and shoved my hand away from her face."What?"

I adjusted the towel that was wrapped around my chest and licked my dry lips." Aunty you have been literally drooling on your phone and I am trying to save my bedsheets. I don't want to sleep on sheets that smell like spittle. Thanks."

She hissed and eyed me."Remember those people that mummy showed us yesterday night. I checked their names on Facebook and guess what? I found their pages! And the boys are both single!"

I tried to ignore the increased rate that my heart was currently beating at.

"So you have been stalking them abi?" I folded my arms, heart still pounding. "And how is that one my business?"

"No its not because I obviously called dibs first." She smiled coyly."Why stalk them when you are going to live with them?"

I whacked her with a pillow. "Do and get out of my room."
