Chapter 2: Love Test

{11:00 Monday morning}

Shaniel's Pov

When I got to second I started to face the fact that maybe Khalil wasn't coming to school today. My mind soon changed when he walked through the door with Fancy. They met up with Mr. Edwards at the door. They had a brief conversation before Mr. Edwards got thd classes attention. "This is Khalil's last day-" "WHAT?! WHAT DO YOU MEAN LAST DAY?! YOU DIDN'T SAY NOTHING ABOUT MOVING!" "Shaniel it's complicated" Khalil said. "So we're over?" "No. I mean I don't want to be." "You're moving to Texas aren't you?" "Yes" "So you want some long distance relationship?" "You two can talk about this later" Mr. Edwards said. "No we have no more to talk about. Dismissed". "D*** she dismissed you" said Jackson. Jackson has been in at least one of my classes since fourth grade. "Shaniel" "Leave!" "My dad died! Who killed him? My mom. Oh yeah and she killed herself right in front of me. That's why I'm moving!" Khalil walked out the door. I sat back down disgusted because I made him tell his business in front of everyone. What kind of girlfriend am I?

Khalil's Pov

Can my life get any worst right now? I've lost both of my parents, my home, I have to change schools, and I lost the best girl I ever had. We've been together for three months which kinda surprises some people. I'm really going to miss my life here. Fancy knows something is wrong because she keeps looking back at me. She pulled into a bear by gas station. "Do you want to go back?" "No. Can we please just head out?" "Are you sure?" "Yeah" I want to go back but I know she doesn't want to talk to me. I sent her a lengthy text.

Destiny's Pov

Shaniel sent me a text around 12 asking me to come get her. Me being the person I am I didn't even asked why. Kendrick said I should let her stay because she might be just trying to skip a test or something. I brushed it off and walked out the door. When Shaniel came to the office she was holding back tears. I rushed her to the car because I know she couldn't hold them any longer. She broke down in the car. "What's wrong?" "He's. . He's . . He's gone" "What do you mean?" "He moved to Texas with Fancy". "I'm so sorry hun". "He wanted to try a long distance relationship but I didn't want to hear it. I was yelling at him so much he blurted out that his dad and mom are dead. His mom killed his dad and then killed herself right in front of him." "Oh my God" "Yeah. I felt so bad. He sent me a text a couple minutes after". "What did it say?" "Mostly that he didn't like we said goodbye, that he loves me, and that he's going to miss me." "What did you say?" "I didn't respond yet". "It's going to be okay". "No it won't" She got out the car and rushed up to her room not saying a word to anyone. "What happened?" Kendrick asked. "I'll tell u later"

{1:00 p.m}

William's Pov

"It's so pretty outside today". "My sisters and I used to come here almost everyday when we came into town". "That's cute. Hanging with your little sisters". "Yeah. I'm a good big brother" She laughed. I'm in love with her smile already. "William. William." Jazmine said snapping. "I'm sorry. What did you say?" "Do you have any kids?" "No. I haven't even been married. You?" "Twin girls three years old". "What are their names?" "Amari and Kamari" "Pretty names. I want a boy so I can name after me of course". "Like most men". She soon shook her head. "What?" "I feel like you're not here with me" "What?" "Stand up". I did as I was told. She got up and walked closer to me. "How tall are you?" "6'3" "Sexy" she whispered before heading back to her chair. Is she teasing me? "Are you going to sit down?" She smiled. I sat down and we enjoyed the rest of our lunch date.

Kendrick's Pov

Tasha is irritating the h*** out of me! Every day when I come to class she has something in my chair. I tell her everyday that I'm married but she still tries. She like obsessed with me. "Hey sexy" "what do you want?" "You know what I want" "Listen I'm married, I have two kids and one on the way. I'm not going to let you mess up my family". "Dang you love your family that much?" I simply got up. "That was the dumbest question I've ever heard!" I walked out the classroom. This makes no damn sense I can't stay in the class because I wouldn't slapped her. I bumped into this tall Latino boy. "My bad" "You good. Can you help with something?" "Sure" "Do you know where Tasha Washington is?" "Yeah 214 just up the hall" "Thanks" He sped off and I followed I couldn't miss this. "TASHA!" Tasha had this worried look on her face. "Shawn?" You d*** right. I just got out of jail you know because you accused me of rapping you". "Sir I'm going to have to ask you to leave". "I'm not going to hurt anyone. I just want answers. Did you or did you not accused me of rapping you?" "Yes" she whispered. Shawn banged on the table. "LOUDER!" "YES!" He smiled then pulled out a recorder but of course everyone thought he was going for a gun. "Thank you very much. I just got your confession on tape. Bye hoe". He walked up to me. "Don't let her get you too". "Thanks for the heads up". He gave Tasha a look then walked out the door. "Mr. Hawkins are you going to sit dow ?" "I guess so". Tasha watched me the whole time going to my seat.
