Chapter 9: New addition

~Chapter 9~

Destiny's P.O.V

I was sitting in the same delivery room I had the twins in. When the doctor walked in Kendrick went off. "Get out of here! Don't you dare touch my wife! Do you the rest of the doctors know your impersonating a doctor?!" A nurse walked in. "Dr. Renalds are you ok?" "Yes I'm ok. Mr.Hawkins I am a certified doctor. You saw me with Damon that day because Damon is my brother. I never pulled q gun on you. Trust me I'm here to help". "I don't know.. Where is Ms. Andrew?" "She's on here way. I just came to check her centimeters". "Alright but I'm watching you". Dr.Renalds did his job. "How long have you been here?" "Maybe 30 minutes" "Well you're two centimeters" "That's good" Ms. Andrews said walking in. "Hey Mrs. Hawkins how are you feeling?" "Pretty good. Just a little worried. I have two months left". "Women have premature babies all the time and they come out healthy". "Really?" Kendrick said. "Yes. I myself was seven months" "Oh ok" "Does that make you guys feel better" "Yes ma'am" we said in union.

~3 hours later~

Kendrick's P.O.V

"Alright Mrs. Hawkins it's time" Destiny reached for my hand. "I'm scared" she whispered. "It's all in his hands" "Alright on three push. 1..2..3.." Destiny pushed. "Good good. Push again" She pushed. "Stop stop. we have another breached baby" She looked at me with worry in her eyes. "We're going to be ok" I kissed her and she started crying. "Mrs.Hawkins just breath everything is going to be ok" Destiny just continued looking at me. "Guess what.. We turned it around so push" Destiny gave a huge push. I soon saw the head. Our baby was almost here! Next thing I knew I heard the cries of my baby. "Congratulations you have been blessed with another baby boy" Destiny looked at me and smiled. After cleaning him off they handed Destiny our son.

Destiny's P.O.V

As I held my baby I started crying. "They said you weren't going to be make it but here you are" I kissed his forehead. "What do you want to name him?" I asked. "Prince" "Prince. I like it" "We need a middle name" "Not really" "I want a middle name" "How about Lee" "Prince Lee Hawkins?" "Sounds good to me" "Alright then" The doctor went to go print out the birth certificate. Soon the family walked in. "Aww my nephew" Ashley said. My mom kissed me on the forehead. "He's very handsome" "Yes he is" Shaniel said. "Kendrick" "Yes?" "Do you want to be swabbed now?" He looked at Prince. "He's my soon. We don't need any test". He's such a good man.. Why did I cheat on him? "Kendrick we need a test for court" "You right" The nurse walked in with the certificate. Kendrick and I sighed it. Then him and Prince were swabbed. "The test will take some time. 12 to 72 hours" "Ok. When can we go home?" "If everything goes well you can go home tomorrow and he can go home on the 16th" "Thank you" "You're welcome. Congratulations again" "Thank you" we said in unison. Kendrick kissed me then placed his forehead up against mine. "We got this. You're mine. We've been through a lot these past couple of months but I never fully left you. I love you and I have your back. Regardless of the results that's my son". He's literally perfect. God continues to bless me after all the trouble I've caused. "Destiny are you ok?" he asked.. "Yeah. I love you too" He kissed me. It was long and passionate. "When do you guys go to court?" Shondrica asked. "This Tuesday" I said. "Do you think he's going to get away with it?" Shaniel asked. "I don't think so" Kendrick said. "I hope not he's pretty tricky" I said. "Mom I'm sorry" "Baby it's ok. Little Prince was ready". I started crying. "Why are you crying?" Shondrica asked. "My baby" "What about the baby?" "I want the best for my family" "Kendrick isn't going anywhere"

Kendrick's P.O.V

She shook her head no. "No No he's going to find us and hurt us" "He's going to jail. We will make it out of this"I said. She continued to shake her head. "No I can't be with you" "Destiny what part if I got you don't you understand?!" "I don't want you guys getting hurt. You don't know Damon like I do" I said nothing. "Please just take the kids somewhere else until Tuesday" "No. if anything happenes it's going to happen to me and you" "No the kids need you!" "They need you too! Especially our newborn!" "Kendrick please" "Fine" I grabbed my coat and headed for the door. "Please don't leave her Kendrick" Lisa said. "She doesn't want me here so I'm leaving" "That's not what I'm saying. I love you!" I closed the door. "If you love me let me protect you! Let me take care of you! I understand you don't want the kids in this but the day you cheated they were in this!" She said nothing. "I'm still here because I live you and all you continue to do is push me away. Let me have your back" "Why?" I looked at Lisa. "Is it that hard for her to accept that a man can truly love her? We're going on three years and I don't believe she's happy with me" "I am!" "So let me love you! Stop running!" "Do you have 500,000 dollars?" The room fell silent. "For what Destiny?" I asked. "If I don't give him the money he will kill us" "He's not getting any money" "It's he going to jail so what does it matter?" my mom asked. I looked at Destiny. "I don't know" "So are you going to trust me now?" "Yes" she whispered. I hugged and kissed her. "Little guy is going to spend the night with mommy" the nurse said walking in. Soon after the rest of the family said goodnight and left. "We're going to get something to eat. Do you want anything?" Kendrick asked. "No thanks" He kissed me then him and Shaniel left. My phone rang..
