Chapter 7: Destiny

Kendrick's Pov

I've been calling Destiny for about an hour now. Lisa is crying because she feels that she has ran her daughter off. Ashley is still staying strong. Trying to figure out where to go look for her. William and Jazmine are out looking for her. Luckily the twins haven't asked about Destiny yet. "Mommy gone" Angel said. Crap! "She'll be back" she gave me a look. "She'll be back, right?" I asked Ashley. "I honestly don't know. Just continue to pray". Words can not describe how upset I am. I'm shaking. "Kendrick calm down" Ashley said. "She's gone because of that b**** Damon. He messed up my whole family. I'm going to let you guys know right now. If ANYTHING happens to Destiny or the baby I'm going to need you guys to take the kids because I will find him and kill him". "She didn't even run off with him. Why would you kill him?" My mom asked. "If he didn't come to my house Destiny wouldn't have slept with him. She wouldn't have kept this secret about there being a possibility that the baby is mine. I wouldn't have left. I wouldn't be sending her mix messages. She wouldn't have went off at the party and she wouldn't have left. All of this started with this dude". No one said anything. "Is it possible that she's on something? She's been acting strange lately" Ashley said. "I don't know. I see why you think that though. She hasn't been herself. I think it just might be stress. Which concerns me even more because all that stress isn't good for our baby?" "Why are you now starting to claim the baby? Why couldn't you do that before she ran off?" Shaniel asked. "I did but then I took it back". "Why?" Lisa asked. "I didn't want to claim the baby and start getting attached to it. Then when the baby came find out that it isn't mine". "Did she ever sign the papers?" "She was the one that got the papers. I never even saw them". "So it's really your wife we're looking for not just Destiny?" "Yes ma'am" The room fell silent. I called Destiny still no answer. "Can we not call the cops?" Lisa asked. "No mom. She's grown and she left willingly. All they are going to say is that they can't do anything". "I'm going out to look for her. Sitting here isn't going to help anything". Lisa stormed out with Omar right behind her. "Mom is righy . Why are we just sitting here Kendrick?" "Why try to bother looking for her now. She left willingly.. I want to give her time to herself. We can go look for her but not right now". "All you can say is not right now! That got us in this situation in the first place!" Shaniel said. Ashley looked at Shaniel then at me. "What are you talking about?" "Destiny wanted Kendrick back. He kissed her and everything but when she mentioned anything about getting back together he would say he wanted to just not right now". "Kendrick is this true?" "Yeah" "So you're the reason why my sister is gone!" "What?! You were the one that was disrespecting her!" "Was this before the party?" "One time before and another last night" Shaniel said. They both gave me an evil glare. "Are you guys serious right now?! I wasn't the only one that argued with her last night! Stop trying to accuse me of everything! You guys have just as much to do with this just as much as I do!" Ashley slapped me. "I'M HER SISTER! WE FIGHT LIFE GOES ON!" "I'M HER HUSBAND! WE'RE A COUPLE! COUPLES FIGHT! SAY SOMETHING NOW!" "HOW ABOUT THE BOTH OF YOU STOP! DESTINY ISN'T HERE! THE TWINS NEED THEIR MOTHER! ALL YOU GUYS WANT TO DO IS ARGUE! WHO CARES WHO'S TO BLAME?! I DON'T! I JUST WANT TO FIND MY PREGNANT SISTER!" Shaniel yelled.

Shaniel's P.O.V

Both Ashley and Kendrick were looking at me. With all that yelling I'm surprise the twins nor Markius woke up. "I'm sorry Shaniel. I'm sorry Shaniel. most importantly I'm sorry twins". Kendrick gave me and the twins a kiss on the cheek before grabbing his keys. "Kendrick please don't leave. The twins don't need their dad gone too" I said. "No Ashley's right it is my fault. I walked in the bedroom last night and saw the suite case by the bed but thought nothing of it. I got in the bed last night and continued to give her mixed messages". "You don't want to be with her but you had sex with her?" Ashley said with an attitude. "I never said that did I?" "Get out! The kids will be fine with me!" "Ashley shut up! Kendrick please don't leave" He hugged me. "I'm sorry. Continue to take care of the babies for me". Before I could say anything Kendrick was out the door. "Shaniel go grab se clothes so I can take you guys to my house" I gave her the same glare I gave Kendrick. "No I'm staying" "Okay we can stay" "No me and the twins are staying. You and your family are leaving. I can take care of them" "Shaniel stop being silly and go get some clothes". "What's going on?" Markius asked in a sleepy tone. "Shaniel is trying to play superhero. I guess she's mad at me so she's not going to come to our house". "Why would she? Where's Kendrick?" "He feels he's the reason why Destiny left. So he left" "To go look for her?" "No" I interrupted. "He left because your wife made him feel like crap!" "It's not my fault it's true" "Alright y'all chill. Ashley if she doesn't want to go just leave her here". "She wants to keep the twins too" "Then let them stay with her. She's watch over them before" "Exactly!" "Fine but don't call me when you need help" Ashley stormed out the house. "Stay safe alright" "Alright" Markius grabbed the boys and left. "Everything is going to be okay. I promise" I made sure wall the doors were locked and watched some tv. I decided to call Destiny. She didn't answer so I call her a second time.
