JASON
As we lay on his bed, our legs tangled, I find myself thinking about our relationship as a whole. It hasn't always been easy and to be honest, I didn't think we would last as long as we have. We're both stubborn, passive aggressive and quiet when it comes to our feelings but here we are, in love.
I feel Jason kissing my cheek repeatedly and I can't help but to grin like an idiot. It's like this guy has a spell over me, and I'm not really complaining. Sure, my life can be pretty shit sometimes but when I'm with Jason, all of that doesn't matter. It's just me and him.
"I love you, babygirl." he whispers. The nickname makes my heart melt. People perceive Jason as this hardened, cold person but he's the exact opposite. All of that, it's just a front. I know who he is and that's enough.
"I love you too." I tell him sincerely.
Our love is something I don't think I'll experience with anyone else. It's messy and emotional but it's real. It's true. And that's something you only get once in a lifetime. I'm sure there will be other guys. I'm only being realistic but Jason is my one, true love.
"Jason?" I ask.
"Yeah?"
"You have my heart."
MIKE
I watch as Mike scores yet another goal at his Lacrosse game. Now usually I would do my best to avoid any and all extracurriculars but Mike is my best friend and this game means a lot to him, so here I am.
The obnoxious shrieking from where I am on the bleachers is significantly growing louder as Mike scores the winning goal. The students rush the field and I trail behind them, hoping to run into Mike, which I do.
"Wow, look at you." I smirk while nudging him playfully. He laughs and we both watch as a few freshman girls walk past, clearly eyeing Mike up and flirting with him. After they pass, he looks to me and shakes his head.
"Oh my god, Mike Montgomery, you have all my love!" I shout dramatically, earning stares from those around us.
"And you, Y/F/N Y/L/N, have my heart." he states seriously. My wide grin shifts to a flat line, not out of anything negative but pure shock. He stands tall, confident in his words. After I regain my composure and realize what Mike actually told me when he said what he said, a soft and gentle smile appears on my face.
"I'll take care of it."
EZRA
I curl up on Ezra's small but comfortable bed and watch as he finishes up grading papers. And I suddenly find myself smiling at the man who I've honestly come to love. He's so wonderfully disorganized and he accepts the mess that is my life.
He eventually is done with his work so he makes his way over to me and flops down on the bed, causing a giggle to escape my mouth. He instantly wraps his arms around my waist from behind and pulls me closer to him.
"Wow, you actually like me?" I ask jokingly. I feel him smile into my hair and he laughs.
"Of course, I like you. I'll love you always." he says to me, no humor in his tone. Slowly, I turn around to face him and smirk.
"I love you too."
After Ezra giving in and finally allowing me to take one of his favorite books home to read, I arrive at home. He's afraid I might tear it or do something to damage it.
As I'm getting ready for bed, I open up the book to read but I'm stopped right before the cover page. On the inside reads a small note that says
Y/N, you have my heart.
