I'm sure I've written a 'rainy days' one in my old book but oh well.
Y/F/M- your favorite movie
JASON
The soft, muffled sound of rain hitting the roof provides a nice sense of comfort. I'm cuddled up on the couch, the blanket practically swallowing me whole. I'm waiting for Jason to come back with a bowl of popcorn. We're having a movie night which I'm incredibly excited for considering we haven't had much tome to unwind and calm down.
As I'm readjusting my blanket, I hear the sound of Jason's bare feet against the floor and smile to myself knowing he is back. He wastes no time crawling under the covers with me and wrapping his arm around my shoulders in order to draw me closer to him. My head rests against his chest as he presses a button on the remote which starts up, Y/F/M. I feel his lips press gently against my temple and as if it's possible, I move even closer to him.
"I can't believe we're watching this again." Jason states.
"Hey," I start while slapping his arm. "This is my favorite movie."
"I know, baby. I know." he laughs while running his hand through my considerably tangled hair. His hand raking through my hair pulls me farther and farther into a state of sleep but I'm still half awake.
"I love you. Christ, I love you so much. I didn't think it was possible to love someone this much." I hear Jason whisper. He must think I'm asleep. And I'll allow him to continue thinking that. I want him to spill his thoughts, uninterrupted.
"You're so beautiful, Y/N. You make me the happiest I've ever been. You're my everything, babygirl."
And I then fell asleep to the sound of Jason's words and the soft patter of rain falling outside.
MIKE
"God, I hate you so much!" I yell over the loud rain. It's basically a torrential downpour outside and Mike thought it would be nice to go for a run. He's trying to get in better shape for lacrosse try outs.
We run through the woods, nearly slipping on the mud that has formed. I spot the small opening where we decided to end our run. As we approach it though, I loose my footing, as does Mike, and fall straight onto my stomach.
Groaning, I turn over on my back to see myself covered in mud. My head turns towards Mike who looks the same but he has the smallest hint of a smirk. His arm reaches out and pulls me to him as we continue to lay down, our faces towards the sky. I close my eyes and allow the rain to fall onto my face. As I'm lying there, relaxing, I suddenly feel a familiar pair of lips on mine. I can't help but to smile and rest my arms around Mikes neck.
This boy will be the death of me, I swear.
EZRA
Being two people who have a passion for writing and reading, we're spending this rainy day doing just that. We're sprawled out on his bed, him reading and me writing. I write about him. The pages of my journal are filled with words regarding him and our love.
Our legs our tangled and his free hand is absentmindedly tracing patterns on my thigh. I smile at the subtle but emotional action. The sound of the rain shower occurring outside provides a cozy atmosphere.
"What are you writing, love?"
I turn my head towards him and give him a smirk.
"That is for me to know and you to find out." I cheekily reply. He just laughs, puts down his book and begins peppering my face with small kisses. His lips press against my cheek, my eyelids, my nose and eventually my own lips.
"I love you so much." he whispers as the once playful moment bleeds into a much more serious and powerful one. His eyes stare into mine. I'm learning much more from his gaze than his words. "I love you so much." he repeats as he hovers over me, his hand gently brushing my cheek.
"I love you too, Ezra. So much."
