He'd probably be really embarrassed for you to show up, seeing that he wouldn't be prepared. He'd end up giving you a tour and showing the place off to you, though.

It'd probably be his absolute nightmare for his partner to see him at his work, because the version of himself that he presents at work would be quite different than the one that you know. He'd probably try to politely shoo you away, but he'd feel bad about doing it, nevertheless.
