"Yoongi what do you think of this coat?  Should I wear it, or do you think I'll look weird?" Taehyung asked anxiously while eyeing his reflection in the full body mirror

"Yoongi what do you think of this coat?  Should I wear it, or do you think I'll look weird?" Taehyung asked anxiously while eyeing his reflection in the full body mirror.  He bit his bottom lip in contemplation, worsening the chapped mess that they already were.

"To be honest, I think over half of your clothes look stupid," Yoongi replied plainly without even looking up from his phone.

"That doesn't answer my question!" Taehyung whined as he picked at the buttons of his coat.  It was his first date in a while, and he didn't want to ruin it.  Though, fiddling with his coat didn't bring him any comfort.

Yoongi groaned, and threw his phone to the other end of the bed without even thinking about it.  He looked at Taehyung, and at once, Yoongi started cackling.  "Honestly, that's the stupidest jacket I've ever seen.  That's the ugliest tiger I've ever laid eyes on, it looks kinda deformed."

"Go suck an egg."

"Hey, you asked for my opinion!"

"Well, I didn't think you would betray me like that."

"Honey, you betrayed yourself by buying that.  Can you at least return it?" Yoongi asked, sensitively.  He didn't want to offend Taehyung, if the coat was nonreturnable.

"Yoongi, one cannot simply return Gucci," Taehyung continued, while staring at himself in the mirror still.  Maybe if he just looked at another angle, then he could keep the jacket.  Maybe it wasn't that bad... That wasn't the case, though.

"Give me the jacket."

"No!"

"Give me the jacket, Taehyung!"  Yoongi demanded, "They won't even look at you, if you wear that there.  Trust me, I know y/n."

"I'm not giving this to you!" Taehyung cried out as he hugged himself.  Two seconds passed and then Yoongi tackled him to the floor, ripping the jacket off of Taehyung's back.

"Don't worry, I'll return it for you, Taehyung,"  Yoongi smiled as he walked out the door.

...

"Okay, that wasn't exactly how it went!  It was pretty close, though.  I swear, I couldn't look my teacher in the face after that," you wheezed through a hardy laugh, toppling over and out of your chair and onto the tile floor of the restaurant.  Your cheeks were on fire, and your face hurt because of how hard you were smiling.  The floor was so cool and inviting, that you didn't want to get up.  Instead, you wanted to just lay your cheek to the floor and stay there for a minute.  Yet, you didn't, since that would be weird.  You raised yourself back up to the table.

Taehyung was staring at you with a smile plastered across his face, unable to hide how ecstatic he was to finally be going on a date with you.  He loved how quirky you were, and found that quality to be oddly enchanting.

"What are you staring at?" you blushed while brushing your hair behind your red ears.  Was there dirt on your face from the encounter with the floor or something?

"Nothing, nothing!" he reassured, smiling, "I'm just looking at you."  He clasped his hands together and leaned back in his chair comfortably.  You smiled shyly again and tried to avoid eye contact, because you may just explode if you looked him in the eyes.  He grabbed your chin lightly with his lovely fingers and led your soft face to glance in his direction.  "Hey, I can't look at you if you're facing away from me!"  he teased.  The audacity.

"Maybe that's what I want," you half-joked, half-admitted.  In response, he frowned slightly and lowered his hand.  "I'm kidding!" you tried to ease him, since you actually did want his attention.  "I'm just not used to somebody looking at me like this."

"Well, I want you to be used to it," he asserted, "Because I could get lost in your eyes all day and never tire of it."

"Taehyung, you're making me blush so much that I feel like my blood pressure is rising and that I'm gonna have an aneurysm," you rambled, "Do not make me have an aneurysm.  I'm going to probably fall to the floor and faint.  Do you want to tell people that during the last date that you went on, your date had an aneurysm?"

"No, I don't," he agreed, "But I guess I can't help the affect that I have on you."  He shrugged nonchalantly, although he couldn't keep his cheeky smile from reappearing across his features.

"Taehyung," you said as you grabbed one of his hands and placed them between yours, "As much as we may be joking right now, I want you to know that I had a really nice time tonight."  He cocked his head to the side and narrowed his eyes, licking his lips.  He either was severely confused, or he was trying to seduce you.

"Y/n," he imitated your tone of voice, "As much as we may be joking right now, I want you to know that I had a really nice time tonight too.  And I really want to take you out again, if you'd be okay with that."

Before any other romantic words could be exchanged, your phone started vibrating against the table.  The text you received wasn't important, but it brought to your attention how late it was.  21:47.  You glared at your phone, but that didn't change the time.

Reluctantly, you said, "Tae, I should really be going."

He got to his feet and came over to your side, ready to escort you out of the restaurant.  "How about I drive you home?" he offered, "I'd feel better if you got home safely."  He placed his hand lightly on your waist and lightly began ushering you out the door.

Although you'd known him for a while already, he has never been to your house.  It isn't like you didn't trust him, but you wanted to be safe.  It was getting late, after all...  "No, Tae!  I'll get an Uber!  You go on home, without me," you politely declined, hoping he'd take a hint.

"Fine, I'll wait to get into my car until you leave, then."

Thus, the two of you waited in the parking lot, under the soft moonlight with the frosty air kissing your skin.  Moments later, the Uber arrived, and soon enough, you were home.
