You choked on air as he said that, because you weren't prepared for that sort of response.  Most of the time, customers wouldn't even comment on your jokes, let alone respond positively to them.

"What about your friends?" you inquired suspiciously.  Did he just suddenly forget he was vacationing with company?

"What about them?  They can wait," he replied smoothly, winking at you.  You couldn't help but think: Where the hell was the shy stranger from five minutes ago?  So this smooth little shit wasn't just smart and handsome, but also charismatic?  Of course.  You should've expected nothing less.  "I'm kidding.  But how about you come along with us?  We could use somebody who knows the area.  When do you get off work?"

"Whenever handsome tourists come into town needing a guide, my schedule just suddenly clears up!" you said with fake surprise in your voice.

"So you do this often?"

"Um, no, I said 'handsome tourists'.  We don't have many of those around here.  This is a once in a lifetime kind of thing, since you're the first one I've come across," you continued.

"I suppose I'm kind of obligated to hang out with you then, yes?  Since this is a once in a lifetime kind of thing?" he played along with your story, smiling.

You smiled widely and admitted, "I actually kind of have this job because I know the owner's daughter.  But I'm sure she'll cover for me, if I leave right now!"

He stared at you blankly as you handed him the car keys for the rental, and he grabbed onto your wrist gently.  He instructed softly, "Come on, let's go then."

Something inside you was fluttering and you couldn't even believe what was happening.  This was exactly what you would daydream about during the slow hours on the job, and you couldn't even come to terms with the fact that it was finally happening.  You felt like you met your soul mate and were being led to your wedding ceremony or something.  You went into a backroom at the speed of light to inform your friend that you had to go for an "emergency," and then you were out the door with the perfect stranger.

Then you paused for a second.

"I'm sorry, but what's your name?" you asked, surprised at how you hadn't even managed to learn that information before deciding to ditch your job for the day.  You two walked out of the building together, in the direction of the car that he was renting out for the day.  Pastel flower petals littered the floor to show the change in season that was occurring.

"My name is... Namjoon Kim.  I guess that's how you'd say it in English," the stranger replied while twirling the car keys around his delicate fingers.

"Okay, Mr. Namjoon Kim, my question is why would you trust a random person like me, without knowing anything about me?"

"Well, considering you were just scrolling through your phone behind a service desk ten minutes ago, you didn't seem like you'd be trying to steal my wallet, y/n."

"Wait, how do you know my name?!"

"It's literally on your nametag on your shirt right there."

"You know, I just met you, but I already feel stupid around you," you admitted sheepishly.  He burst out in laughter at your comment and stopped in his tracks, looking you in your eyes.

"You know, I get that a lot..."

"That's probably something you need to work on then!" you added.

"Well something you need to work on is staying on task.  You're my tour guide, but you've yet to tell me anything about the city!" he countered playfully.  You blushed at that.

"Okay, well what do you want to know?"

"I want to know about you," he replied in a jokingly seductive voice.

Flustered, you shouted, "Namjoon, I just met you, but you are already making me feel all sorts of things that I am not used to feeling!"  Your cheeks burned a bright red as you spoke, causing you to cover your face with your hands.

"I just wanted to make you feel all embarrassed like how you were trying to make me feel earlier," he joked, elbowing you.   You felt like you've known him for your entire life, when you had only known him for a few minutes in reality.

"I, honestly, don't know if I'll be able to be around you for an entire day, because you're making me go through an emotional roller coaster that I did not sign up for," you said seriously, quickening your pace.  Namjoon smiled, glad that he finally had that kind of effect on somebody.

"Aww, thank you.  But lucky for you, because you won't have to do it alone!" he said, "Meet these six idiots that I call my friends."  He gestured towards a group of guys about thirty feet away, looking lost and confused.

"Wait, you never said they were hot too."

"What?"

"Nothing..."
