----Chapter 2----

I was running. I could hear his sicking laugh somewhere in the distance. He was gaining on me. Just a few more streets and I would be home. Suddenly someone came around the corner and tripped me. He just laughed at me. Suddenly I felt a weight on top of me.

"Got ya, did you think that you could run from me?"

Hunter awoke with start. She could feel a panic attack coming on. Breathing heavily she got up and stumbled into the bathroom. In the mirror her face was pale and she was sweating and shaking. Striping, she got into the shower. Hunter stood there for a moment trying to regain her composure. When she did she quickly rinsed off then slumped back to her room. Getting dressed she laid back down in her bed trying to catch a few minutes of sleep before she had to get up again. Hunter was so deep in thought that when her alarm went off that she almost fell out of bed.

Sighing she went downstairs there was a note from her mom says that she was called in for a business trip and she didn't want to wake her up. It also said that she wouldn't be back till Wednesday. Today was Friday.

 "Typical," Hunter sighed.

Even though she was almost 17 it would be nice for her mom to be home for more than three days at a time.

Deciding that breakfast was out of the question, Hunter gathered her things and walked to school.
