YN P.O.V:

I pulled up to the blue dolphin and got out. I texted my dad and told him I was here. I walked in and my dad was standing near the front.

"Munchkin."

"Hey pop."

I gave my dad a hug and smiled. He always leaves out super early for work so I only get to see him when he gets home from work.

"Wheres mom?"

"She's at the table. Come on."

We walked to the back and sat down at the table with momma.

"Hey momma."

"Hey hun."

We all talked and ordered out food. We talked about school and work. I enjoy having times like this with my family. I was the only one who ordered dessert, when I started eating my father placed his hand on top of mine.

"We have something to talk to you about." I took another bite of my cake and looked up him.

"We were going to wait, but we felt like this was the best time to to tell you." I looked at my mom as she spoke. She slowly placed her hand on top of mine.

"Your father and I have been going through a rough patch."

"Your mother and I are getting a divorce."

I looked back and forth between them.

"Wh-what?"

"We knew you weren't going to react well but we had to tell you." My mother spoke softly before continuing.

"Things have been rough between us for a while now. We didn't know how else to tell you."

"Are you kidding me?" I was in complete shock and could feel tears rim under my eyes.

"You're getting a divorce? What--what am I gonna do? Whats gonna happen to us as a family?"

My father lightly squeezed my hand and spoke.

"I saved up some money and got an apartment. I've been moving in for a few days now and I'm going to finish moving in tonight. You can come over whenever you want to, Just come back and forth from my house to your mothers house, if you want to."

I snatched my hands away from both of them.

"That's not what I want." There were tears rushing down my face and my voice was slowly raising.

"I don't want a broken family. Both of you always told me its never okay to keep secrets. Then you keep secrets from me. I can't. I just can't do this right now."

I got up and grabbed my keys. I walked out as quickly as I could without making a scene. I hopped in my car and pulled off as fast as I could. Tears were still streaming down my face as I drove. I felt so terrible. Like my parents didn't care. I just wanted to feel good again.

I grabbed my phone and started going through my contacts. I scrolled down until I saw "Bryson (ADD EMOJIS ASAP)". I clicked on his contact name and called him. It rung a couple of times before he picked up.

"You called quicker that I expected. Wassup princess."

"Bryson, just send me your address. I'm on my way over."

I didn't say anything else, I just hung up and continued driving. When I got his message I opened it and clicked on it. It went to my GPS and I hit the direction button. On my way to Bryson's house my phone just kept ringing and pinging. My parents just kept trying to reach me but I didn't want to talk to them. I turned my phone on silent and kept driving.
