"Y/N, wait for me!"
She heard Tom yelled from his room. She turned around and put her hands on her waist. He grinned at her innocently, making she rolled her eyes.
"Tom, you could just float there without me. It's not like you could lose or something."
She nagged. This time, he was the one who rolled his eyes. He patted her head and grinned.
                              "I'm ready. Let's go."
He said, eager to know that they were going to the library. She raised her eyebrows and eyed him up and down. He gulped at her doing, she was staring at him.
                              "What?"
"You said that you were ready. It's not like you've change your clothes or put on make up or whatever it is."
She nagged again. He groaned and shook his head. He felt like there was dark cloud on her head today. She was so grumpy and 'Grumpy Y/N' was the one that he hated the most.
"I'm a ghost. I don't need to get ready actually."
He shrugged. She just snorted and walked towards the door with Tom hot on her tails. He chuckled under his breathe whenever she glared at him. She was so moody.
                              ~•♥•~
                              "This is interesting."
She muttered under her breathe while looking at the book in her hands. But then another book caught her eyes, so she put the book back and took a look at it.
                              "Oh my god."
She heard someone said beside her. She looked over and saw a woman was standing froze next to her. Her eyes widen and her jaw dropped like she saw something amazing or scary.
Y/N didn't know why but when she saw Tom, she knew definitely what was going on. Tom was picking a book on the shelves and it looked normal to her but not to that woman.
The woman saw the book was floating on the air and the pages was shuffled by itself. On the other hand, Tom obviously didn't notice what he has done.
Y/N quickly shook that woman, afraid that she might pass out there. The poor woman looked at her and pointed at the floating book. Y/N made a shock expression on her face to convince her.
"I think we need to go!"
Y/N whispered at her. The woman quickly nodded and ran away from there. But Y/N could hear that she talked to the librarian about the library was haunted. They didn't trust her though.
When she left, Y/N breathed of relief. She turned her gaze at Tom, who was still finding books. She needed to stop him from scaring other people again.
                              "Tom."
She called out for him, with her lips pressed into a thin line. She looked around if there was any other people at the aisle.
                              "What?"
He looked at her with a small smile. However, she didn't return the smile.
                              "Don't do that again!"
She whispered-yelled at him. He frowned and shook his head, couldn't understand what she was referring to.
"You scared the hell out of that woman. You're lucky she didn't pass out here!"
She continued to scold him. Tom still couldn't get what she was saying. But then he realized what has happened. He bit his lips and guilt washed over him.
                              "Where is the woman?"
"She's gone, obviously! Why would you want to find her though, you want to scare her to death?"
She didn't know why she was so mean, but she didn't realized that her words was too harsh. Tom was taken aback at her words.
                              "Y/N, I didn't mean to scare people."
He explained, a clear guilt in his eyes. It really wasn't his intention to scare people by him reading books. He just forgot that people couldn't see him.
"Then what? You were practically make the book floats and scared her."
She was like couldn't just drop it. He knew she was all grumpy and moody today, but she couldn't let it out at him like that.
                              "I won't do that again, Y/N. Okay? I'm sorry."
His face softened and he cracked a smile. But she scoffed and shook her head with a smirk.
"Maybe you need to stop coming here with me. You'll just scare people."
Her words was like venom to him. He was hurt by the way she talked to him, by the way she thought about him. He never wanted to scare anyone but now he knew that she only thought him as a ghost who will scare people.
                              "If that's what you want."
He whispered and hung his head. She bit his lips and realized that her words was too harsh. He started to leave the library when she ran after him.
                              "Tom, wait."
She was going to follow him out of the library when her phone buzzed. She stopped and checked the text. It was from Sebastian.
" Hi, Y/N. Don't forget our coffee date today. "
She couldn't help but smile at his text. They always texted each other now. She quickly typed a reply that she was going to the café right away. But then she remembered about Tom. She turned around and Tom was nowhere to be found.
She sighed heavily and guilt washed over her right away. She shouldn't say that to him. She was so unreasonable with him. She was a bad best friend ever.
Sighing, she made her way to the café to meet Sebastian, hoping that today would get better.
