A week has passed by after Y/N finished writing her book. She has sent it to a few book publishers, hoping that any of them would like to publish her book. She prayed every night that her dream to be an author will come true very soon.

She worried too much, until it she fell sick this morning. She woke up with a really bad headache that she felt like she was going to die. Not just that, she vomitted just after she took her breakfast.

What an awful way to start a day.

Tom didn't get out of his room yet, so he didn't see her in that condition. So as he walked around the house, he realized that he didn't see Y/N anywhere.

"She can't be sleeping right now."

He mumbled while rolling his eyes. It was almost noon, and she wasn't a type of person who will stay in bed that late. Tom knocked on her door and waited.

"Come in."

Sore throat made it harder for her to speak. Her throat felt like sandpaper. Tom frowned when he heard her sick voice, but opened the door to see her.

"Y/N, are you alright?"

He sat on the bed and pulled her to look at him. Her eyes was red and her face was pale. She shook her head as an answer. He put a hand on her forehead and noticed that she was burning.

"You're burning, Y/N."

He was worried. She sneezed and covered her face.

"Tom, get out. I don't want you to get sick."

He smiled at her.

"I can't get sick, Y/N. It's fine."

He stated, earning a small smile from his sick best friend. He walked out of the room and came back with some food. But Y/N was so stubborn, like usual.

"You need to eat."

"I don't want to."

Tom sighed and put the food back on the tray. He gave her the medicine and she took it without any other questions. She wanted the pain to go away as soon as possible.

"You should eat first, you know that."

Tom said, a frown on his face. She just glared at him and buried herself deeper in the sheets. He shook his head and stood up to put the food back in the kitchen, but then she grabbed his wrist.

"Yes?"

"Can you stay?"

She asked while giving him her best puppy eyes. He could never say no to this girl. She was so beautiful even when she was sick.

"Of course. Just let me handle this first. I'll come back."

He said and she smiled at his words. As he walked out, she grabbed her phone and noticed 13 missed calls from Sebastian. She cursed under her breathe, she must be sleeping when he called her. He must be so worried.

She quickly called him back, waiting on the line.

"Hi, Seb-"

"Y/N! Oh where have you been, sweetheart? I'm worried."

She chuckled but it was cut by a cough.

"Y/N, are you not feeling well?"

"I'm fine, Seb."

He sighed heavily.

"Don't lie to me, sweetheart."

"Okay, I'm a little bit sick."
