Kellin's POV

I sighed and doodled in my notebook as Louis droned on and on about how amazing Renaissance poetry was and I couldn't pay attention to save my life. Maybe it was because anything that came out of Louis's mouth made me cringe and sent shivers down my spine and made me want to scream but nothing he said was even registering in my mind. And besides, I had a lot more concerning things to think about than listening to poetry from the fifteen hundreds.

All I wanted to do was get the hell out of here. I wanted to get as far away from Louis as I could. And while I hadn't told my parents what happened, I had told them that maybe I wouldn't be able to handle being at school at the moment and had them looking at homeschool. I wasn't opposed to being homeschooled, right now I'd love it. Of course, I'd miss getting to see Vic everyday but, I'd be away from Louis.

And I needed to be away from him. If I ever wanted to get completely better I needed to get far away. It would be best for me and I knew that. The bell finally rang and like always, Vic was already at the door waiting on me.

I shot up and smiled at him. "Hey," I said, rushing out of the room.

"Hey, how's your day been so far?"

"Pretty good, I'm kinda nervous for later."

"And why is that?"

"What if your friends hate me?"

"I doubt that."

"There's always a chance."

"They'll love you."

"I hope," I sighed. "I've been talking to my parents about something..."

"Which is?"

"I didn't tell them the real reason why but, to get away from Louis, I might start homeschooling. And who knows, maybe it'll be better for the other stuff, too."

He pouted, "I mean if it works for you, then I'm happy but I'll miss you."

"I'll miss you too. To be honest, it's mainly because of Fitz."

"I figured."

I nodded and took his hand in mine.

"But, I think if you give it a few days, babe, you might change your mind," Vic said slowly, giving me a strange look.

"What's that suppose to mean?"

Vic stopped walking and pulled me to him, he put a finger under my chin and looked me straight in the eyes. "I told you once, I was always going to take care of you and I meant it. Just know, that I have something in place to make sure what Fitz did to you will never happen to you or anyone ever again. Got it?"

I gave him a skeptical look, "Got it."

Vic smiled and gave me a kiss. "Love you."

"Love you, too."

"Now, let's get your pretty little ass to class."

I rolled my eyes, "Okay, okay."

Vic grinned and squeezed my hand tight and started leading me to class. When we got to my class Vic gave me a kiss before he went off to his own. What he said kept me distracted throughout class, though. I was worried he would do something. I didn't want him to do something stupid. And I had a feeling that whatever he was planning was going to be completely stupid.

"Kellin," My teacher said gaining my attention "Can you read number four please?"

"Oh uh, yeah, yeah," I stammered.
