Just another high school love story (Colby Brock x reader)

Chapter 10

I was the first one to wake up in the house. I looked down and saw that my sleeve slid up and uncovered my bandages.

"Shit." I accidentally said out loud while covering them back up. Apparently Colby wasn't sleeping he just had his eyes closed. He turned towards me.

"Is everything okay?"  He asked me.

"Yeah, I'm fine."

"Okay." He grabbed his phone and started looking on Facebook. I stood up and went to the bathroom. I then went back into the room and got dressed, I left on Colby's sweatshirt and changed my pants to stretchy pants.

When we got to school Sam parted from us and went to his class. Me and Colby walked to our class. We were the first two in class except the teacher. When the warning bell rang everybody started to come in. Rylee looked at me in disgust. I stared at him. When he got close he pushed me off my chair. Colby didn't see it. I got back up and sat down.

After class ended I just decided to skip the rest of the school day and go to the park. I started to walk out of the school until I heard a familiar voice say my name.

"Y/n." When I heard them say that I stopped in my tracks and looked behind me, it was Rylee. I turned back around and started to speed walk.

"Where do you think you're going?" He picked up his pace. He was close to me so he reached out to grab me. I saw his hand out of the corner of my eye and I started to run. I've never ran outside of school since elementary. I heard his footsteps grow louder and closer. I wasn't running at my full speed yet but Rylee either wanted to beat me up really bad, or something else. I wasn't up to finding out what. I started to run as fast as I could and ran around a corner, I don't know where I was running but I was running for dear life.

"I swear to god Y/n when I catch up to you you'll regret ever starting to run from me!" I heard him yell. He sounded closer than I thought he was. Shit. I'm not losing him anytime soon. I was thinking on giving up on trying to run anymore. I could feel myself starting to slow down, then all of a sudden I felt a lot of weight on myself and fell to the ground. When I hit the ground I let out a squeak.

"That's all you had for running? Wow. I thought you were stronger." He said breathing heavily. I tried to get out from under his weight. He weighs too much.

"Come on you can try harder at least." He said making me feel weaker. I started to hear footsteps. 'Help! Get this fat ass off of me!' I tried to speak but I couldn't get a noise out of me.

"Whose this?" I heard a person say.

"Y/n."

"Oh, that girl. Beat her already and get it over with."

When those words left the mans mouth the weight was off of me. I could breath. I took long breaths. All of a sudden I felt pain strike me in the side. I looked over and I saw Rylee's foot leaving my side. He struck me again. He bent down, grabbed me by the collar and hit me, not with all his strength, but pretty hard in the face. My lip hurts, it's bleeding. He hits me harder, in the eye this time. I felt a black eye. He hit me and kicked me multiple other times. I blacked out half way thru. All I could remember was waking up in someone's warm arms, and someone talking in my ear.
