Chapter 6

When I woke up I was in a bed, and Colby was on the floor next to the bed. I looked at the time and it was 5 AM. 'Two and a half hours before we go to school... yay.' I thought to myself. I stepped over Colby and went to the kitchen to make myself a bowl of cereal.

After I ate the cereal I took a quick shower and got dressed for school. After I did all that stuff like deodorant, perfume, brush my teeth, and all that shit. It was 7 AM and the boys are still not awake.

I walk over to Sam's room and looks like he's about to wake up. Then I walk over to Colby's room. He was still sound asleep. The blanket only covered his legs. 'I could just walk over there and cuddle with him all day.' I thought to myself as I leaned on the doorway, staring at him sleeping peacefully. All of a sudden I hear my name.

"Y/n?" He said my name more than once.

"Y/n!" He kind of yelled. "What are you staring at?" Colby asked me as soon as I snapped out of the trance I was in.

"I... uhhhhh... came to wake you up but you looked to peaceful, so I didn't bother you."

"Well time to get ready for school I guess." He said standing up. I stared at him a little longer. "Y/n can you leave the room so I can change please."

"Oh yeah, sure." I answered leaving the room and going back to the kitchen. Sam was sitting on the couch ready to go.

"How long was I standing in the hallway?"

"About 15 minutes."

"Wow, such a waste of time."

Colby walks to the kitchen ready to go.

"Ready to go?" Colby asks me.

"Yeah." I say grabbing my sandals and slipping them on. All three of us get on the bus and go to school.

When I get to school the principal stops me and tells them to keep walking.

"Y/n, your moms worried about you, you haven't been going home she says? Why not?"

"It's none of your business."

"Well if you don't want to tell me that's fine, now go catch up with your friends." He says starting to walk away. I catch up with Sam and Colby.

"What was that for?" Colby asks.

"He says that my mom is 'worried' about me. And he also wanted to know why I wasn't going home."

"Did you tell him?"

"Hell no!"

"Okay."

~~~~~time skip to lunch~~~~~

As I was walking to lunch this girl runs into me.

"Watch where you're going, loser." And then her and her group of friends started to laugh.

"Y/n please come to the office." Somebody said over the loud speaker.

'Shit.' I thought. I started walking to the office and then Sam ran up to me.

"Why do you have to go to the office?"

"I don't know."

"Well I hope it's nothing bad."

"I hope too."

"See you later?"

"Maybe, I don't know. Bye. And tell Colby sorry that I won't make it to lunch."

"Okay. Bye." We waved at each other. I walked into the office and saw my mom.

"There you are, I was so scared." My mom came up to me and hugged me. I didn't hug back. "Why aren't you coming home?"

"Let's not talk about this out here." The principle said and had us go in his office.

"Tell me why you aren't coming home, is it because of those boys I heard about?"

"No."

"Well then tell me why."

"I don't like it at home."

"Why not? I'm doing everything I can in my power to be a good mom."

"Are you sure? Because you surly don't act like it."

"What are you saying."

"I don't go home because you're a really bad mom, I don't even know if I want to call you mom anymore."
