Taehyung listened to the recording one last time. He closed his eyes and sighed. If he got another hate comment, it would drive him crazy. He pressed the post button.
"There's no going back now," he thought.

Jungkook scrolled through his feed after finishing his homework. The first thing he saw was a cover of Someone Like You by an account called Kim_TaeTae.
After hours and hours of editing and singing, I finally managed to gather up the courage to post this. I hope you guys enjoy this as I put my blood sweat and tears into this project.
Jungkook smiled at the caption and clicked the video. The voice that reached his ears made his breath catch. It was the deepest, most prettiest voice he'd ever heard. He rarely understood the english lyrics but the man's voice expressed so much raw emotion it made his heart hurt.
He liked the post and commented: THIS IS SO GOOD! PLEASE POST MORE.
Jungkook went to the man's page--Kim_TaeTae--and looked at his other covers that were just as breathtaking.
However, others didn't feel the same.
"Watching this video makes me want to beat you up"
" garbage"
"Eghh the original is a hundred times better. And you completely messed up on the high notes."
Jungkook momentarily became Jungshook. He couldn't believe people could say such things to Taehyung.
And so he made it his personal mission to make sure more people would appreciate the art that this Kim Taehyung guy was.
He sent out the video to his friends and made sure they all commented nice things then private messaged Taehyung himself.

Tae woke to the sound of his alarm. He fell asleep on his laptop, headphones slung over his neck. He looked at the time. It was 7 o'clock. He shot up, drowsy but somewhat alert. He was supposed to be up half an hour ago. He'd be late if he didn't start getting ready now, but the notifications on his phone distracted him. There were at least 20 of them.
He knew all they'd be is hate comments, but he could look at them later. For now though, he had to leave. Fast.
Tae grabbed his clothes and simultaneously brushed his teeth in an effort to get ready as soon as possible. He really needed to start waking up to his actual alarm instead of the backup one.
After taking his bag, swallowing some cereal quickly, and yelling bye to his dorm members, Tae ran to the bus just in time. He slumped against a pole--the bus was packed--and took out his phone when he could finally breathe again.
Tae opened up his video to check out the comments and felt his lips tremble.
JK: "This is literally the best thing I've ever heard in my entire life. YOUR VOICE IS SO GOOD WITH THIS SONG."
GH: "ASGDHJF @internationalplayboi WHY DID YOU SEND ME THIS SO LATE AT NIGHT. I'M JUST GONNA CRY UNTIL MORNING, THANKS."
NL: "You're really talented. Keep it up."
SU: "WHAT HAPPENED TO MAKE YOUR VOICE SO SAD. TALK TO ME."
OG: "Good choice of song."
JM: "TAEHYUNG YOU'RE THE BEST I LOOOOOVE YOUR VOICE -Your #1 Fan"
Tae chuckled at the last one, from his own best friend, Jimin. He couldn't stop reading all of the comments. For once, there was nothing mean. Or at least there wasn't anything mean yet.
