Jungkook laid on Jimin's thigh while he scrolled through his feed on instagram. He was so bored and Taehyung had rehearsals at the theater.
All the other hyungs were with Yoongi trying to do something with a new song Namjoon wrote.
"Jiminie hyung~" Jungkook whined. "I'm bored."
"Same."
"Take me for lunch, hyung," Jungkook said.
"No."
Jungkook pouted and batted his eyes, "Ah Jiminie hyung~" he sang while acting cute. "Take me to lunch please ."
Jimin's eyes disappeared as he smiled brightly, "Only because you're cute." Jimin grabbed his coat and Jungkook did the same.
Jungkook shivered as they walked through the fallen colored leaves. They were only halfway through September and it was getting pretty chilly outside.
"Where are we going, hyung?"
"There's a new cafe that opened down the block. I heard really good things about it."
They grabbed a table and coffee and muffins.
"Hyung," Jungkook began. "I need your advice."
"Go ahead."
"Well, I miss Tae hyung."
"What do you mean? You see him everyday."
"That's true but, I miss the way things were before. I miss when the only person on my mind was him. When I could talk to him without being shy. But now it's hard to look up at him. I feel like I've hurt him and I'm too shy to talk to him."
Jimin took thought hard and finally replied, "Taehyung is...different. He isn't like other people. He's really soft to the core. I don't think he could ever hate you even if you hurt him. When Tae loves someone, he doesn't let go. He holds on for a long time." Jimin hesitated before he continued. "I feel like...he feels like you've replaced him with Yugyeom."
"But I didn't. As much as I love Yugyeom I still love Taehyung too. I would never replace him."
"I'm just telling you what I think from my point of view and from what I know. And to be honest, as time passes by, he sees you less. I feel like even though he has us everyday just the fact that you two don't talk so much anymore has really broken his heart. I feel like he feels lonelier by the day."
"Hyung, can I tell you something?"
"Go ahead Kookie."
"On the first day of college I promised Tae I'd meet up with him but I forgot and went to the cafe to see Yugyeom instead. When I realized I forgot I ran back to Tae and he was crying and he hugged me. And," Jungkook paused thinking. "I felt something."
Jimin tried to suppress a smirk. "What did you feel?"
"Hyung I felt different. A good different. He put his hand on my neck and I-what's wrong with me?"
"Ah continue already," Jimin said trying not to laugh.
"Hyung, I felt like, five different nice feelings."
Jimin smiled, "What do you mean??"
"It's like--I love Yugyeom and all but, Taehyung ..." Jungkook's words seemed to die on his mouth.
"You feel all warm and gooey inside and it's a feeling that just makes you want to die because it hurts your heart and almost feels like you're about to faint because of how overwhelmed you feel by the emotions that seem to take you down and attack you?"
