Four Weeks Later
Today was worst case scenario for me because of the huge painful scar on the back of my neck. I can't remember much from what happened at the diner, but I do remember pain and screaming. It also sucks because I haven't heard from Optimus since the attack that nearly killed me. Knowing the way that Optimus is he most likely blames himself. I wish I could tell him it isn't his fault, but I know he won't listen to me. However, for now I'll put that on the back burner and go for encouragement purposes regarding Sam on his job interviews today. I shower and dress quickly say morning to my babies and leave my apartment. I knock on the door of their apartment I was nervous about going since Carly and I aren't really on speaking terms considering we don't like each other.
"In a minute!" I heard her shout out from inside of the apartment, I stand and wait for her to answer the door.
Shouldn't Carly be the one going with him on the interviews? Why me? Curse being the best friend of Samuel James Witwicky!
The apartment is in shambles when I entered. "Carly?! Is Lily here yet?" Sam calls from what I can only assume is their bedroom.
"Yes! What is your deal with her anyway?!" I heard Carly reply the bitterness and jealousy showing up in her voice.
I might as well make myself at home considering Sam's always at my apartment eating up my food, and sometimes falling asleep on my sofa in my apartment. I swear it's like his second home, away from crumpets.
"Carly?! Have you seen my navy blue tie?" he asked, it wasn't surprising that he was about to have a panic attack, typical Sam always over exaggerating.
I jumped up when Sam suddenly screamed. I covered my ears blocking out his screams not understanding why he felt the need to.
"Those little bastards cut up my tie!" I heard him sneered, and he stormed out of their bedroom.
"Carly, look at my tie!"
Sam cried, upset, I snickered.
"Sam, how about you wear the tie I brought you?" Carly told him.
A few moments later, Sam comes downstairs dressed up in his black blazer, over a white button up shirt, a black tie, and jeans?
"You look good, but for the record you never do a job interview in jeans Sam." I said.
"Thanks, for coming with me today for my list of interviews today Lily." He says, with a smile.
"How come you didn't ask me?" Carly pouts, placing her hands on her hips.
"You have work today and I didn't want to keep you from it." Sam murmurs, then kisses her on the forehead.
"Okay," she whispers, before shooting me a evil glare. I rolled my eyes not playing her any attention.
"Sam, let's go before your girlfriend burns me full of holes." I huffed.
"Can you two try to at least get along? I don't have time. My parents are gonna be here in a week on their road trip party bus world tour." Sam tells us.
"Sam, stop being a drama queen. I'll call a truce if your girlfriend will stop shooting daggers at me!"
He pinched the bridge of his nose, "Can you two not kill each other? Please?"
