Back to Lily's Pov
I walked into the shop feeling tired. I spent all morning preparing for the dinner party tonight.
"Lily, I need your station open, we have a big well-known customer coming." Billy explained.
"Why can't you ask Peter or Tony to take care of it?"
"You do much better work than them." Billy responded.
"Well. In that case who’s the client?" setting up my work area, Billy smiles. I’m a bit taken back by his reaction Billy never showed emotions, neither did he smile.
"Dylan Gould is getting his car fixed at my shop!" Billy told me.
I didn't see what was so great about this Dylan Gould guy anyway. I on the other hand just saw everyone who flies through here as a customer who needed their tire pressure checked, or needed a engine installed, or just a regular oil change, not some big shot who thinks he's God’s gift to women.
I sat at my clean station like Billy instructed.
Suddenly, a Audi a4 pulls into the shop, the car was a beauty, charcoal gray, tinted windows, it shined up like a new penny, it had no flaws so I couldn't possibly see what the damage was.
A man opens the door and he looked to be about in his early forties. He’s dressed up in all black. He’d a charming aura to himself and he carried himself well too.
"Oh so you’re the famous Dylan Gould." I confirmed, trying not to show my excitement.
"Indeed. I am. Dylan Gould owner of Gould accounting. You must be the amazing Lily Lawrence Billy told me about." he says with a smile.
"That's me." I giggled.
"What seems to be the problem?"
"Oil change, tires need to be changed, and just the regular service."
I nodded and get my tools ready for doing what I do best, fixing cars.
"You been doing this a long time?" He asked me. "Since I was about 17."
I grab my favorite wrench and screwdriver out of my toolbox and start to unscrew the bolts from the tires.
Why do I feel like Dylan is staring into my back? Men!
I stiffened when his hand wrapped around my hand where it was pulling me up. We both froze with my hand unclenching and clenching the handle of the wrench.
Dylan smiles kindly, "Do you need any help? You seem pretty distracted."
I founded my eyebrows what made him think I was distracted and needed assistance?
He takes the tools out of my gasp and starts to work.
I sat staring in shock at how he worked so gracefully treating the car like it was a precious jewel and not just some object that you ride until the tires come off or just to drive it only to show off.
"You see you don't hold the handle tightly, you hold gently, you don't push it or you’ll damage it."
My mouth hanging open as I watched him work on his car, he worked so easy as if he has been working on cars all his life.
He works so gracefully. I thought amazed.
The minutes tick by as I watch him work his magic.
My hazel eyes stay locked on him, he turned around I guess because he felt eyes staring into his back. I dropped my gaze when he caught me staring at him.
