We pull up to the barb wire gates of the repairing NEST base. Sam cuts off the engine, and gets out. I do the same.

"Another day of being messengers."

Sam exhaled, I snickered, "Just peachy," he says, sarcastically.

We enter the base with high heads knowing that the soldiers will probably blame us even though the incident wasn't our fault regarding Sentinel's force of action.

"I hope you know that speaking with her won't be easy, Sam." I told him.

"I gathered that from our first meeting." Sam replied.

When we approached Mearing she was looking through clipboards.

"I could really be of help." Sam tried to tell Mearing but she ignored him. "I mean, you guys seem pretty busy. We could just do this another time, I think." Sam said, I flinched when the necklace sent agonizing pain through my body. Damn! The damn necklace forced me to spring into action by brown nosing around one of the computers.

I could tell Sam was in pain too because he grabbed his arm, and I wasn't doing any good myself.

"I have underestimated you at every turn." Mearing said sincerely. "What?" Sam was confused, and distracted. My fingers move at a fast pace on the keyboard trying to crack the code, I was surprise no one saw me. Not even Mearing.

"You warned us that they were using humans. And you knew that Sentinel was the key."

"Director," a soldier called Mearing over.

I jumped when a hand touched my shoulder and I swiftly spin around in the chair.

"You can't be on our government computer." a man with light brown colored hair said who probably assistances Mearing, pulled me up by my arm.

"Ah ha! You're absolutely correct! Mr. Smarty smart!" I blurted, shoving my finger in the guys chest, the man gives me a strange look.

"Get away from here." He said, forcing me away from the table of computers.

I scurry over to Sam. "Ah, who am I? Hey, you're the expert. I'm just a walking security risk." he quoted her words.

"Are you two feeling well?" Mearing asked, finally noticing our odd behaviors.

"Yes, no! Yes!" Sam shouted.

"Of course. What makes you think that?" I added.

"No, you're not. You're sweating." Mearing observed. "We're fine," Sam assured, lying through his teeth. "I'm sweating because I'm nervous. I'm nervous because you got me in here with this information. Okay, I'm a twitter junkie. I blog everything, I can't keep a secret to save my life." Sam said anything and everything that came to mind to keep Mearing from giving us any information.

"You two sure are strange." Mearing confirmed. I jumped in her face poking her in the nose. She glared at me. "You're not allowed to touch." She snapped.

Sam grabs me putting his hand over my mouth. "Stop!" He snapped. I nodded.

"Did you say something Witwicky?" Mearing asked. "That's the truth, I'm telling you." Sam insisted.

"Director, the pentagon's calling in 15." her secretary called.

The TV was on and we stared in horror, with the other NEST workers, watching the news announce the government's decision. "It's been a remarkable series of events today at the Capitol. Just moments ago, legislation was passed to exile the Autobots from American shores. The US military alliance with them is officially over. In the words of the House Majority Leader, the sponsor of today's resolution, 'we cannot in good conscience invite them to stay."
