Chapter Four

"Baby, wake up.." the soft voice of Adrian woke Ace up. Ace stirred around before looking at Adrians smiling face.   "Well, good morning to you too." Ace gave a tired smile before feeling kinda sick.  Sitting up suddenly, Ace ran into the bathroom, almost not making it to the toilet.  There he threw up.  Adrian came by his side and patted and rubbed his back.  Ace was finished and flushed.  Getting up, Ace went for the sink and washed his face.  Swishing water in his mouth and spitting it out back in the sink.   "Is everything alright?" Adrian asked in worry.  Ace blushed and looked at Adrian.  "Uhm.. i really don't know how to put this.." Ace looked down in disappointment.  "Ace, baby, whatever it is, i promise i won't be mad." Adrian held Aces cheek, and Ace held the hand.  Ace bit his bottom lip. Taking a deep breath, Ace looked right back into Adrian's eyes.

"Im pregnant."

His eyes welled with tears, tears of joy that is.  Smiling, Adrian hugged Ace, who happily hugged back.   "Oh Ace.. how long?" Adrian asked.  "About a week now." Ace said, holding his stomach.  Removing his hands, Adrian bent down and kissed the soon-to-be belly of his future child.  "And already getting morning sickness." Adrian jokingly shook his head. Ace laughed and petted Adrian's hair.  Adrian pulled himself up and looked deep into Aces eyes. He could see both fear and love in them.  "So, now that your plan to have kids after graduation failed. Are you ready for the reality?" Adrian asked. Ace sighed nervously. "To be honest, not one bit. But since i'm graduating in a few months, i should be ready by then." Ace said, looking a bit scared. "You'll do just fine as a parent Ace.. trust me." Adrian and Ace smiled at one another.  "I have a surprise for you." Adrian said. "What?" Ace asked. Adrian placed his pointer finger on Aces lips and shushed him.  "Its a surprise babe, if it wasn't I'd tell you." Ace pouted.  Taking Ace by the hand, Adrian lead him out the bathroom, sitting him on the bed.   Adrian took a blindfold from his back pocket and tied it around Aces eyes. Adrian made Ace stand and walked him out of the room.   Ace had sorta a bad feeling to this, he knew something good was at wherever Adrian is taking him, but Ace knew something else was there.    Adrian stopped in front of his office, where Ace tried to take the blindfold off.  "No, keep it on." Adrian said, pushing Ace hand away from the blindfold.  Adrian opened the door and took Ace in with them.  "You can take it off now." Adrian said.  Taking the blindfold off, Ace was met with two people.

"Aunt Katherine!" Ace smiled and gave her a big hug. "Oh sweetie, i'm so glad you're okay. How is everything here?" She asked.  Ace smiled again. "Great actually, everyone is so nice, and i kinda met someone.." Ace blushed a little at the mention of Adrian.  "Really who?" before Ace could answer, he felt two thin arms around his back. Knowing it wasn't Adrian, Ace turned his head to be met with  Eric. pushing Eric off of him, Ace just looked at him, almost shocked. "What are you doing here?" Ace asked nervously. "Who wouldnt come see their boyfriend?" Eric smiled. "Im not your boyfriend, Eric. i dumped you a month ago." Ace blurted aloud. Now Adrian knew Ace wasnt cheating.  "I dont remember." Eric crossed his arms stubbornly. "Thats because you're so stupid!" Adrian walked up to the two. Insults left and right at the two. Coming in right between them, Adrian pushed them apart.  "I mean this, you two need to stop." Adrian glared at them both.  Ace looked down. "Sorry Adrian.." he said quietly. Adrian sighed. "Eric, i would like to talk to you in the hallway." Adrian said, facing Eric. "You cant talk to me like one of your students." Eric bitched.  "I can talk to you in anyway i want to. Hallway. Now."  forcing Eric out of the office, Adrian closed the doors.    

"What do you want?" Eric asked, throwing his arms together. "I didnt like the way you were talking to Ace." Adrian said sternly.  "So? Why does it matter to you? Do you actually care about him?" Eric sarcastically answered.  "Believe it or not, i care about Ace a lot more than you. And by the looks of it, you rarely care about the kid." Adrian pointed out. Eric didnt say anything.  "I suggest you leave and don't bother my boyfriend anymore."  Eric whipped his head up to look at Adrian.  "I knew there was something between you two. Youre disgusting.. How can Ace even love you?" Eric's tone was full of hatred and disgust.  "Well, he is carrying our child. Shows how much we really do love each other."  with that line, Eric ran off.  Adrian smiled and walked back into the office.
