Shades Of Red

Chapter Six

Ace jumped from his bed, sweat beaded his forehead, his breaths were uneven. Adrian held him close, making sure he was alright.

"A nightmare again?" Adrian asked. Ace nodded. "They've been going on for days now, they just wont stop." Aces eyes welled with tears. "What was it about this time?" Adrian was worried, very worried. "Alex.. he was found dead in his room. And that man, the same exact fucking man from eleven years ago was there. But the thing was, Alex was hanging.." Adrian didn't want to hear anymore, so he shushed Ace before anymore could slip out. Adrian scooted Ace onto his lap, comforting the boy. Ace placed a hand on the now growing bump on his stomach, a small smile found its way onto his lips. He means to see his doctor about it. Just to make sure the baby was healthy, or alive. Adrian placed his own hand over Aces, showing his love for both him and their child.

"Adrian, i wish to speak with you in your office as soon as possible."

Alex's voice flooded into Adrian's mind. Alex sounded worried about something. Or maybe happy? Adrian looked down at Ace, who peacefully sleeping on his side. Carefully, Adrian got up and went to his dresser. Putting on a dark red shirt on, and his shoes, Adrian left the room. On his way down, Adrian felt something off, almost forbidden. Adrian tried to ignore the feeling, but no luck. Once reaching his office, the air was thick with that feeling. Something wasnt right.

Adrian opened the door and there stood Alex with a tall, very buff man. His hand was on Alexs back, seeming to comfort him. Was this him?

The strange feeling of something bad came off the man. "Alex, what's going on?" Adrian was becoming wary about the man grinning at him. Adrian, this is Seth. my boyfriend. Seth smiled at Adrian. But not a happy smile, more like "I know what you're hiding smile." Adrian stepped forward, avoiding Seth. to be honest, seems way too familiar to be new to Adrian. Wait a fucking minute.

"Weve met before, havent we?" Adrian gave off a friendly smile. Seth frowned. He didnt like that answer. "I think we did, eleven years ago. Address 3224." Seth gave Adrian a amused look. "My, i guess we did." his voice was just as deep as Adrian remembered. Adrian can see it all, his glowing iridescent eyes, the way he moved with his neon sword, the grace, the power he has, the death he saw. Seth wasnt any normal Magix, the rarest type of Royal blood. Farn AB Positive. Adrian was Tare B negative. (T-A-RE. tear). Alex gave the two a confused look as Adrian and Seth stared into one eyes, trying to find a lie. "Now, Adrian. Wheres your little one?" Seth asked. "He's asleep, it is close to five A.M on a weekend." Adrian crossed his arms.

"Alex, this guy isn't right for you.'

"What? What are you talking about?"

"He's not who you think he is. He's a murderer"

Alex looked at Seth, who looked back at Alex and smiled sweetly. Almost like he was actually in love with his brother.

"I dont believe you, Seth is an amazing person, very loving with me. I couldn't ask for anyone else."

Adrian really wanted to rip Alex across the face for how stupid he was.

The door opened, there he stood, Adrians love. Peaking his little white head past the door, Ace was not even in the room before his eyes went wide and slammed the door shut, leaving Adrian with Alex and Seth again. Adrian was confused, while Seth was grinning. Adrian ran to the door, leaving.

Adrian saw Ace on ground, shaking. Adrian knelt down and scooped the boy close to him. "That was him.. The man in my dream.. He's real."Ace was close to crying, so was Adrian. Adrian didnt want to cry in front of Ace, he didnt want show himself as weak. Until Ace looked at Adrian. "Its okay if you cry, no matter much or how little you cry. Ill still be there to comfort you." Ace said the exact words from last month. That made a tear escape Adrians red eyes. Adrian kissed Ace on the temple, trying to be sweet about it. To be honest, Ace wouldnt care any less if it just a quick kiss or a long kiss. He found them all to be nice and wonderful. Alex walked out, looking around until finding Adrian and Ace on the ground, cuddling. "There you are, i was looking everywhere for you." Alex said, looking actually alive. His neck was decorated with a bite marks, close to fangs. Adrian cocked an eyebrow. "You saw me leave, with your boyfriend." Alex was confused. "What do mean? That's not my boyfriend." Alex said. Oh shit..
