Chapter Seven

"Dont you need other things beside just a Turkey and decor?" Vlad studied the dining hall, his fingers rested on his chin.  "We've never actually Celebrated Thanksgiving before, Vlad. just Christmas and Halloween." Henry said, putting fake leaves around the table. "I know, but this year, Adrian is bringing a special guest with him, the boy grew up with a human heritage." Ginny​ was putting a couple of smelling candles on the table as well. "We want to make him feel like he belongs with us." Ginny​ eyed down Henry. "I just want some blood shed after this." Henry licked his fangs and gazed at Vlad. Vlad looked at him and growled.  "You need to learn how to control yourself when you are around him, Henry. He might have human blood, but he is still a Magix." Vlad lit every candle, not breaking eye contact with Henry.  "It will be nice to see the boy for the first time. Adrian's brother is coming, yes?" Ginny had the most obvious crush on Alex, it was cute to watch her get excited about whenever he came for a meeting.  "Of course, Alex wouldn't miss this for anything. And about the boy-"

The double doors opened to a woman, close to her late twenties and a small little boy, her obvious son.  Vlad smiled brightly and scooped the running child into his arms.  "Fern! How are you?" Vlad said, kissing her cheek.  "I swear, Human traffic is the worst, especially in Atlanta." Fern said, tying her strawberry blonde hair into a tight bun.  "Is what mommy saying true?" Vlad asked the little boy. "Yup! All true." he said, nodding. Vlad squinted his eyes playfully. "Sounds suspicious." Vlad set down the boy and ruffled his hair. "Its not, Uncle Vlad." the boy said, smiling ear to ear. Vlad smiled back.  "Whens Adrian going to be here?" Fern asked. "Soon, and he is bringing a special guest, so i do please you dont do anything stupid when hes here."  Vlad looked directly into Ferns sparkling green eyes. "I promise, who is it though?" Fern smirked. "His name is private at the moment, but to please be kind to him." Vlad turned around and started to help Ginny​ with the food.  Fern was getting a bit skeptical about Vlad, he never acted so.. Improper.   

"Adrian!" Ginny called. Alex, Adrian and Ace were currently taking off their coats. Adrian kindly took Aces coat off of him, making Vlad smile.   Vlad walked up to the three, "Welcome, i do hope you all find pleasure here." Vlad bowed respectfully at them.  "Just because were Royals, doesnt mean you have to bow." Alex said, placing his coat on the rack.  Vlad smiled at Ace.  "i do hope youll enjoy this years Thanksgiving feast, made specially just for you." Vlad gestured to the table, covered in the most delicious and beautiful food.  "Vlad, you didnt have to because of my DN-" Vlad put his pointer finger on Aces lips, shushing him. "Nonsense, it is a human holiday, and why not Celebrate it with someone who know more about it then us."  Vlad said. "Come now, meet our finely guests." Vlad smiled and showed off the Dining hall.  Adrian held Ace's hand as they explored, not wanting to get separated.  "Ah, Sir Adrian, its a pleasure to see you again." Henry smiled and shook Adrian's hand. Looking down, Henry saw Ace. "is this your son?" Henry asked, looking back at Adrian. "Uh, no, Henry, hes my boyfriend." Adrian said, squeezing Ace hand, Ace squeezed back.  "Oh, my apologies. Its wonderful to finally meet you, what is your name?" Henry asked Ace.  "Ace, sir." Henry smiled. "A strong Tops name, im sure Adrian here is the female in the relationship?" Henrys german accent was getting annoying pretty fast. "No, sir, i am." Ace said, softly holding his stomach, where the small noticeable bump was shown. Henry looked from Ace and Adrian a fast pace. "I see, well im sure you two be the best of husbands." Henry tipped his hat and walked off.  Ace and Adrian looked at each other and laughed quietly together. He was going to be drunk at the end of the night.   

"This place is quite nice, i didn't know you had something like this in your home." Ace was looking around at the very beautiful decor of leaves, small scented candles and gordes everywhere. Adrian smiled, "yeah, everything is nice. Im still surprised how Vlad did this by himself." Adrian said.  "Actually, he didnt do this alone."  Ginny bounced in front of Adrian. She was dressed in the most cutest maids outfit, her long brown hair bounced as she kept jumping up and down.  Ace puffed a cheek and looked to the side.  "My bad, you and Vlad did do a very job. I would enjoy staring but i do have someone now." Ginny bounced her way to Ace.  "oh, then you must be our special guest. Im Ginny, please to meet you." Ace shook her hand, a sweet smile formed on Adrians lips.  Ginny went away, only to have to talk to Alex.  Adrian pulled Ace close to him, making sure Ace comfortable.  "I dont know about that Henry guy, i didnt like the way he looked at me." Ace said into Adrians chest.  Adrian pursed his lips in a concerned way.  "I promise nothing will happen, im going to be by your side until we leave."  Adrian rubbed up and down on Aces waist, giving Ace a sudden burst of comfort.  "Oh, i heard word that someone of your side is on their way to meet with you tonight." Adrian said, looking down at Ace. "really? Who?" Ace was curious. Adrian just shrugged and lead him and Ace back down to the large table.
