Chapter Sixteen

“How stupid were you? You nearly gotten you and Ace killed.” Alex’s voice flooded into Adrian’s head as he groaned.  “Shushted uphm..” Adrian’s words were muffled and slurred. He was under heavy medication for his six broken ribs and a fractured skull.  He gladly couldn’t feel anything as Alex pumped more morphine into his I.V. Alex sighed as he saw Adrian pass back out, still shocked on how he couldn’t hear the terrified screams of his love in the background.  Walking out of the room, Alex carefully made his way into Ace’s room. Sebastian was sitting in a chair in front of Ace as he tried to calm him down.

“Thank god you're here! Ryan isn’t answering any of my questions.”

Coming to face Ace in front. Alex pursed his lips.  The eyes of Ryan glared at them as Alex took a seat next to Sebastian.

“Ryan, we just need answers. Cooperate with us.”

“Fuck off, Alex! I’m not doing any harm.”

“You’re possessing a child’s body!”

“He’s a weak being! Just like your little brother.”

Alex growled at Ryan. his words about Ace can set Alex off, just a hearing about Ace being weak was a harsh things. Ace is a brave being, a great kid at surviving.. But who knows if he or the twins would survive this.  

“Alex, buddy, you and i both know Ace is the weakest Magix out there. He showed it by getting pregnant. The twink couldn’t more than a whore as to have fucked someone before Adrian. He didn’t claim Ace, Eric did. So Ace belongs to Eric. and besides, the kid knows too much, erasing his memory should be-”

Alex whipped his hand across Ace’s cheek.  The slap echoed through the white room as well as Alex’s heavy breathing.  “Talk shit about my brother-in-law one more fucking time, i will kill you. And this time, you’ll stay dead.”  Ryan’s laughed escaped from Ace’s lips. “You won’t hurt me, Alex. i know you well enough to understand that you won’t touch me when i’m in this body. Nothing can take me out of it, just like the other useless host.  I infest Alex, i feed off of his negative emotions, and oh boy! There is alot to keep me here for years. I’m the parasite, Ace is the host. And guess what.. I’m hungry.” Ryan licked his lips as he forced himself deep into Ace, making the kid gain control again.  Ace’s eyes welled in tears as he could see Alex and Sebastian in complete shock.

“P-please.. H-hel-p me.”

Sebastian untied Ace and placed him in his lap. Without flirting, Sebastian comforted Ace, whispering that he was going to be okay. Alex kneeled down in front of Ace, he smiled sweetly.  “Come on, let's take you to see Adrian.” Ace nodded into Sebastian’s chest. Giving Ace to Alex, Sebastian frowned. “Ryan will take control again, but doubt knows when. If he does, make sure Ace is brought back to this room.” Alex held Ace close and nodded. Walking out of the room, Alex made every step quiet and gentle.

“Ace, i promise you everything is going to be alright. We won’t let anyone harm you or Adrian. We’ll get everything sorted out. I swear, i promise.”

“But promise me this.  If anything happens to me.. Take them out. I don’t want them to know their dad was..”  Ace didn’t finish as he slowly fell asleep in Alex’s arms. “I will promise everything to you. You are the one we will protect until we die. You’re very special Ace, special enough to where we love you.”  entering Adrian’s room, Jack looked over at them and smiled. “Adrian is asleep as well, best to keep them both together.” Jack said, putting the damp rag on the side table. “We thank you, Jack. you and Sebastian do a lot more than we owe you credit for. Just hope we aren’t too much.”  Jack scoffed happily. “No, not at all. We’re happy to help you guys no matter what. Just expect a pay. Besides, after every tough case we get, we take that stress off in the bedroom.” Alex carefully laid Ace down next to Adrian, making sure it looked like they were together the entire time.  “I’ve been meaning to ask. Who’s the bottom?” Alex asked, setting the blanket over the couple. “Me, but there was once i topped. It didn’t feel right so i went back to getting fucked right in ass.” Alex laughed and the two walked out of the bedroom. “Still can’t believe you and Sebby have been married for six hundred years. I couldn’t keep a relationship for a year.” Alex said. “We had ups and downs for a few years. But once Sebby found out i was pregnant, his attitude changed into what he is now. He was so happy to start a family, to finally settle down.. But that changed when Leingo found out. After we got home, Sebby wanted to wait and try again, but i told him no, i wasn’t exactly ready the first time. Until now, he’s been waiting patiently for me to be ready, but i just don’t have the heart to tell him that i’ll never be ready for another child. I’m still too scared.”
