Chapter Fifteen

“Vlad! Wake up!” Alex slammed his fist on the desk shaking it. Vlad quickly shot his head up and looked at Alex. “A-alex! I-i-” Alex shushed Vlad and sighed. “You’ve been sleeping alot lately, is everything okay?” Alex asked, sitting next to Vlad. Vlad didn’t know how to answer. He shouldn’t really say that he’s having wet dreams about his goddamn father.  “I-i don’t know.. Really” Vlad said, putting his head into his hands. Alex placed a comforting hand on Vlad’s back, hoping something would happen. “Hey,” Vlad looked into Alex eyes. “Come here.” Alex awaited Vlad with open arms and Vlad took it. Sitting in Alex’s lap, Vlad blushed as he rested his head on Alex’s chest. “Is something bothering you?” Alex spoke up. Vlad shook his head. “I guess it’s all this sudden news about the wedding and Pete.” Vlad drew down a finger along Alex’s chest. “And uhm.. Do you remember when me and.. Geven were.. You know.. Together?”   Vlad talks about Geven like he’s a different person. Everytime he says Geven, he means someone else than his father. “You told me a few things about it? Why?” Alex was a bit concerned. “I’ve been having dreams about it. When he found we, when we..” Vlad didn’t finish. He didn’t want to. “You don’t have to talk about it if you’re uncomfortable.” Alex kissed Vlad’s forehead, making him smile. “I love you, Alex.” Vlad whispered. Alex smirked. “I love you too, Vlad.”

Jacob looked at the couple cuddling on the couch. It has been a crazy week with Ace only having four months left in his pregnancy and Adrian setting the house up for them to live in. even Pete was going through some troubles with Katherine, telling her about him being a Vampire Magix was a huge shock to her. She ended up forgiving him in like five minutes. Lifting his coffee to his lips, Jacob sighed. A hand ran it’s way down his back as he knew who it was.  

“It’s weird, isn’t it. Having your brother marry your father?” Ellie said. Jacob smiled. “A bit, but can’t argue when they are deeply in love with each other.” Jacob smiled and wrapped an arm around Ellies waist.  “Ever think about his ex? Do you think he’ll try and win Ace back?” Jacob didn’t think about that. Maybe? “Who knows, Ace has been through so much. I bet meeting up with his Ex would be the nightmare then being sold off in a sex slave auction.”  Ellie giggled. “I can’t be the only one to notice men can’t have kids.” Ellie said, looking up at Jacob. “Fertility potions, strange as it is.” kissing Ellie’s temple, he smiled against it. “It’s late, why don’t i meet you in bed soon. I need to make sure they’re alright before i leave them alone.” Ellie nodded and headed to their room.  Jacob sat down his mug and looked at the couple. “Is he seriously asleep? You just held him a few minutes ago?” Adrian smirked. “The power of warmth, my son. I know how to use it well.” Jacob smiled and laughed a bit. Adrian ran his fingers through Ace’s white hair and wondered. “Has he always had white hair? Or did he dye it?” Adrian asked. Jacob stayed quiet for some time. He gulped down the lump in his throat as he made his way to the small recliner in the corner of the living room.  “No, he never dyed it. His hair and eyes had changed into what they are now when he was a kid. Mom said it was because he was mix with a more powerful being his hair turned white by the stress it gave him. He originally had dirty blonde hair like Mom and brown eyes like Karter. When he was in kindergarten, the teacher was the first to notice the change. It started with his eyes, then his hair. Soon enough by fifth grade, he was an official albino.” Adrian held Ace closer. “But, you have noticed the scar on his chest right?” Adrian perked his head up. That scar. It was obvious not to notice it.  “Yeah, what about it?” “i think that has something to do with him being such a catch to others. Everywhere i go with him there’s at least one or more guy to look back at Ace with a sexual gaze. It happened yesterday at the store, this man, who to be totally honest, was extremely hot, asked Ace on a date. Like, there’s no way in hell something like that actually happens, and he came out of nowhere.” Adrian pursed his lips and looked down at Ace. this sweet innocent boy couldn’t be that attractive, not to be wrong, Ace was extremely beautiful and amazing, but to others eyes, they can’t see the meaning behind him and have that disgusting nerve to ask him on a date. Wait, why is there only guys asking him? Surely some girl would want to steal him, he is perfect boyfriend material.
