Beautiful Destruction.
{Recap}
As I ascended the steps to my room I heard smashes and crashing coming from Lucas room. As I stepped closer and put my ear to the door I heard a deep growl and something be thrown at the door and I jerked backward, stumbling and falling to the floor.
The door was ripped open and a shirtless, dishevelled Lucas stood staring down at me, his chest heaving with his heavy breaths.

I stared wide-eyed at Lucas and I saw his eyes soften ever so slightly.
"I... Lucas I.." I stumbled. Lucas put a finger against his lips and jerked his chin towards the bottom of the steps. I listened and heard Jonah leaving telling the maids he was leaving for the night and the door closing. I looked back to Lucas but he was still listening intently, waiting for the sound of Jonah's car. A few moments later he sighed and looked down to me.
"Come," he said and turned to walk into his room. I hastily got up, tripping slightly on my dress, and crept into Lucas' room. I gasped at the sight. His desk chair was broken, splintered across the deep red rug, one leg thrown into the wall opposite the desk. A lamp lay next to the bed surrounded in sparkling glass that mirrored the moonlight. The blankets were shrewn across the room, one lay ripped and atop the deep mahogany armoire.
Lucas was staring out the window, avoiding my gaze, leaning against the wall. I carefully walked towards him, reaching my hand out to touch his creamy skin.
"Don't," He growled harshly "just don't." I lowered my hand in defeat, all thoughts of comfort erased and anger took its place. He has no right to treat me this way! I've done nothing to deserve this!
"No, you don't deserve it." He sighed. What? Did I say that aloud? A deep chuckle interrupted my thoughts and my eyes snapped up to see an amused Lucas watching me internally freak out. His arms were crossed over his muscled chest and I watched as his skin strained against his muscles as he turned to face the window again. My eyes trailed over the skin of his back and landed on two scars by his shoulder blades. Instinctively i reached up to trail my fingers across the scars before Lucas whirled around and captured my wrists in his hand, pulling me roughly against his chest.
For the first time I didn't shrink away from his touch, it wasn't cold. It was gentle yet rough at the same time. His skin was smooth and his grasp was tight. My body heated where he touched me as he slid his arm around my waist, placing his hand on the small of my back, holding me there against him. I looked up to him but he was still looking out the window. Watching as the trees danced in the wind, causing an array of light as the moon shone through the moving leaves.
I studied the way his angled jaw tensed and untensed, the way his chest moved as he breathed and how his muscles constricted as he tightened his grip against me. His eyes looked far away. Lost. His mouth was set into a hard line and every inch of his body was still, like stone, apart from his breathing. His grip on my wrists loosened and I slid one hand out of his grasp. I started from the bicep of the arm that was on my waist and trailed softly to his neck, grazing his cheek with my thumb, completely lost in his beauty.
His body relaxed and his lips softened, taking on the full shape that I admired when I first saw him watching me from the other side of the street that night. Lucas slowly looked down at me, eyes staring intently into mine, searching for something.
"Lucas.." I was silenced by his lips crashing down onto mine. I stiffened before melting into the desperate kiss. Melting into the mystery of Lucas. I whimpered softly as he pulled away, only to put an inch of distance between our lips and I longed to close the it. His lips curled into a smile as he slid a loose curl behind my ear, dragging his fingers beneath my chin and placing a soft kiss on my lips.
All the disgust I ever felt melted away as the pull towards him strengthened. My heart was burning, longing for his touch.
He looked into my eyes and all questions left my head. All that was left was Lucas as we stood in a comfortable silence, and we stayed that way until I fell asleep in his arms. Surrounded by his beautiful destruction.
