I sang along as i took my shower.

"Jackie, hurry up. It's been thirty minutes already" Andy yelled.
"if you keep this up, all the good dresses would have been sold out by the time we reach the mall" Katie yelled.

"I'm through, coming out now" i tied my towel. Katie was a shopping manic and i was sure she would totally freak out if there wasn't anything good to buy by the time we reach the mall.

I hastily put on a jean short, a red top and a black snickers.
"I'm ready lets go" i said as i walked towards them. Exams were already over and it was senior prom tomorrow. That was why Katie was bent on getting the best dress and nothing but the best. Senior prom has been every girls dream since like forever. I was happy that i got to spend my prom like this. I had always thought that i would be at one of my per time jobs when my mates are busy having a blast on prom night.

The most important thing about prom for all girls was having a date which fortunately all three of us had.
Chad finally talked to Katie and asked her to prom, Andy was going with her boyfriend Jason and me with mine.
Can life get any better.
High school was finally over. We had all made entries to different colleges but neither of us knew the college choice of the other because we didn't want to interfere in each others decision.

"Why don't you take the silver dress" Katie suggested.
"It's to clingy" i complained.
"how about the red" Andy sat folding her hands.
"Its too shiny" and she rolled her eyes.

"how about the blue one" Andy suggested again.
"it looks common. I bet most girls would be wearing it during prom" i shrugged.

"Stop being so indecisive" Katie said probably feeling frustrated.
"i know I'm indecisive. It's just that i want everything to be perfect"

"Are you guys having any problem getting what you want" the attendant asked.

"My friend here is having troubles finding the perfect dress" Andy said making sure to stress the perfect dress part.

"Don't you mean your twin" she asked surprisingly.
" No we aren't twin, we just look a lot alike" i explained.

"Wow, I've never seen doppelgangers before. Sorry to ask but i thought one of you is supposed to die"

"if that was to happen we wouldn't be here now, would we?" Andy said feeling a little bit angry.

"I'm sorry. I meant no offence" she apologised.

"none taken" i quickly replied before Andy says something bad in anger.

"Since you forgave me, there is a dress inside which i think would look lovely on you. You know the Karen Marshall, the owner of KM fashion line..."

"oh yes, i love her designs" Katie and Andy said simultaneously.

"She had made a new design specially for her daughter as a birthday present but her daughter refused it since they weren't on good terms"
